Really well considered tool for writing
My only big wish is that it supported syncing over iCloud, rather than linking a Dropbox account.

My only big wish is that it supported syncing over iCloud, rather than linking a Dropbox account.
Kind of a battle-cry from ancient software history. Like a Ford-T, that you (originally) could get in any color you wanted, as long as it was black. Ford grew wiser; the “latte” folks do not seem to posses that quality to the same degree. A lot of the iOS 11 standard interface handling is not really supported in full. Simple touch and move or copy-insert does not work in many cases. Or requires extra - unnecessary steps - to complete, if at all possible. iCloud data exchange is not supported, let alone a proper sync, and if the “latte” homepage forums are to be believed, this will never be the case. A proper support of the iOS 11 (and coming) capabilities would make the app much more usable. Especially on iPad Pro. Alas, this is obviously not to be. Again: If the statements on the “latte” website forum regarding iOS support is to be believed. A pity. Really.
Both on the PC and the iPad Pro I love the seamless interface. I can work on my project at home on PC, save it to Dropbox, then when I am on the move, it opens up in my iPad and keep working on it exactly where I left off. The iPad version has all the features I use in the PC version for writing, and the same wonderful ability Scrivener gives you for organising your source material and notes. I use split screen on the bigger screen real estate of the PC, which isn't possible on the IOS version, but it is easy enough to flick forth and back between research and chapter notes, and your manuscript. There are a couple of things I would change. I haven't worked out how to have a default font in all new chapters when I open them, so my project is a mishmash of different fonts. It shouldn't be complicated, the default page should open with the same font everytime, but doesn't seem to. Not a biggie as I do my final formatting in MS Word anyway but a bit of a niggle. Also, and not a fault of Scrivener though I wish app developers would complain louder to Apple, the app is a lot harder to use in touch screen format in IOS than with a mouse on PC. I wish Apple would drop its stupid resistance to the mouse and just let us use one with our iPads!! Developers of the world, please complain!!
Syncing problems with Mac. App crashed several times. Had to reinstall. I stick to Storyist until updated.
Fungerer rigtig godt, er velintegreret med Scrivener på mac og pc, og er lavet med fokus på alle de små vigtige detaljer. Anbefales.
