Great App, easy to use!
finde auch keine Support Funktion 10.- Ferienplan gekauft. Testen wollen, App auf Uhr öffnet nicht. App auf Uhr gelöscht, neu geladen. Bringt nix.
Last year I wrote the review below. Today when I want to go diving it won’t synch with the phone and it’s not possible to turn it on on my watch. Sadly, I’ve already paid now!!! I have to arrange with Computer somewhere six hours before the Dive. 2023 Easy-piecy to use and just pay the weeks you go Diving. Perhaps not ideal if you are a dive MASTER.
App working amazing with the Apple Watch Ultra and the Oceanic iPhone casing. Perfect integration
Natürlich wäre Logbuch in Kombination richtig cool.
Before I summarize why I would never buy the Oceanic+ app and dive housing again, some general info. I just paid for an Oceanic+ app/subscription for my Apple Watch Ultra and bought an Oceanic dive case for my iPhone 15 pro before my vacation in November. Software looked good at first glance, the case sturdy. There was an announcement that the Oceanic+ software will also work with the latest OS updates for iPhone and Apple Watch. So I installed the updates before November 1st. Then I checked for updates before my first dive on November 3rd. There was none. Here's the story: - My Apple Watch Ultra with Oceanic+ restarted underwater during the 6th dive. Just like that. After that, a warning appeared that I should use a backup device. Since then, the watch restarts every few seconds. Tried all the tricks and tips from the support channels and Youtube, to no avail. The watch keeps restarting and is completely unusable! No idea who will resolve this. It seems that Apple Oceanic+ (or whoever wrote this software) has given the Apple Watch more options in its operating system. This is the only way to explain this error, the watch is neither physically defective nor has water penetrated it! - Diving case: The iPhone app is even more error-prone! After I had gone through the whole dive housing start-up procedure the first time (takes several minutes each time, the case or the app becomes unusable underwater if the software crashes), the app simply froze. On the second dive it simply quit. Bad luck. In between there was a message that the iPhone was overheating. So I let it cool down. On the third dive the app simply "froze". But the worst was yet to come: at a depth of 20m I noticed that water was slowly entering the case, without any prior audio warning signal. After a controlled ascent the iPhone still worked, but with water damage. The Oceanic+ case is dead. Conclusion based on my experience with Oceanic products for the iPhone: - Apple Watch Ultra unusable - Oceanic+ case no longer works - iPhone still works, but at least the battery needs to be replaced. - Logs gone, fun gone! And all of this because of (very) faulty software. Who pays for that?
The Oceanic app for the watch as a dive computer runs reliably and does its job well – no complaints there. However, the app for the DiveHousing to control the camera is a different story. Unfortunately, it’s nearly unusable. The new quick switch feature ruined ten of my dives right away because the app lost connection to the camera. Even before that, I experienced several crashes underwater, which is incredibly frustrating. When the app freezes, there’s no way to restart it inside the housing, so you’re done with taking photos for that dive. On the positive side, the post-editing feature has improved – editing photos now works without the constant crashes that were previously an issue. After my last vacation, I sent a detailed feedback email to support, but unfortunately, I never received a response. It seems that customer service is not a priority here.
Super Application.
