Seatfrog: Rail Journey Planner

I have correctly entered my info a dozen times to purchase tickets that are listed as available only to be told to try again. Grrr!

I’ve spent over an hour trying to get this app to save a payment card and it will not. The cards work with other merchants so it is an app issue, not a card issue. Also, I can’t find a way to get tech help… only a faq page that doesn’t help with my problem. Frustrating.

Use ipad and wont turn the screens to landscape. Upgrade that has been paid and charged to credit card does not turn up in app records

SeatFrog is now levying a ridiculously inflated service fee on transactions. This can be a huge percentage of the cost of the upgrade itself. It’s also not mentioned until you get the stage of confirming your bid - so the “minimum upgrade bid” price is misleading. This is bait and switch price gouging. You don’t charge people a fee and then tell them you are saving them money. Especially when a month ago, providing the same service did not require a fee. Shameful.

Can’t get past selecting a train time without that error popping up and force closes the app.

Do not recommend SeatFrog to book tickets. Did not get the seats requested instead got the Worst seats possible on both occasions. Highly recommend buying directly from train company or using Trainline service.

I have contacted help desk 3 times re this issue - they keep telling me it’s fixed….spoiler alert it is not

Recommended to download the app after buying tickets only to find out that all upgraded seats are already sold out for our trip. Why bother getting the app then?

Gathers every possible piece of information from you including credit card details before allowing you to bid. The the bids have minimums that are many times more expensive than if you had just purchased an upgraded ticket in the first place. Super dodgy.

Finding tickets needs to be easier. Also PLEASE add the add-to-wallet function. Otherwise good app.
