## Second Nature Description
Second Nature exists to change minds about losing weight.

Our app uses behavioural science to retrain your mind to make healthy choices automatically, so these stick in the long run.

But we don’t just look at what you’re eating and how much you weigh. We also look at your sleep patterns, exercise levels, how you regulate emotions, and other habits that impact the way you might be feeling.

We also pair you with a registered nutritionist who provides one-to-one advice and supports you to build new, healthier habits.

Our app also has hundreds of simple, indulgent recipes as well as daily articles that explain the science of healthy living - so you feel empowered to make changes, rather than just being told what to do.

Britain’s NHS recommends us because their own research suggests we’re twice as effective as other weight-loss programmes. 90% of Trustpilot reviews rate us as ‘excellent’ because 9 out of 10 people lose weight and keep it off, even after 12 months.

We want to make losing weight feel easier; to make it feel second nature.

Download the app and sign up today to start your journey!

Second Nature uses Apple HealthKit to integrate your phone's step data to help you set goals.

## Second Nature Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Helped me lose weight"
Support given through coach if needed but also through group chats. Suggestions for other health related topics and advice given through the program chosen. Time consuming at first but easier as time goes on. Would recommend.
-- Elaine 9, 2024-12-14

### ***** "My course with Second Nature"
I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to join this course. I am seeing improvements in my health already by using your recipe book and exercising more. I make it part of my daily routine to exercise for twenty minutes. I am currently covering an area at the back of the house with stone and I have spread three tons per day, two more to finish it tomorrow. I am going away at the weekend to have a rest. I hope I get get my weight closer to 80 kg by the end of this year. Thanks for all the advice I get doing the four week courses. Even though I have already done them, I seem to get more benefit doing them again

### ***** "Brilliant supportive community"
This app has really done the trick for me. I am living a much more healthy life and eating a nutritious diet. I have lost weight, am exercising regularly and feel very positive about the future.
-- 54JMR, 2024-07-23

### ***** "Changed My Life"
Very thankful to NHS for letting me sign up for this App to manage my blood sugar levels! My HBA1c was borderline diabetes level and its now back to normal because of my new approach about my overall health.
-- mikeymaltese18, 2024-05-26

### ***-- "Early days but ok. 1 glaring miss…"
App itself seems well thought through other than, weirdly, the app only reads weight measurements from apple health instead of read and write. So you can pair your scales to the app and it will record your weight but it won’t update apple health. But you can update Apple health with a weight measurement and the app will update from Apple health. So the most efficient way for me to record my weight in one place is to unpair my scales and record it through Health manually 🤷🏾🤦🏽‍♂️. Bit of a waste of set of smart scales really…

### ***-- "Miss the support"
Second nature has been helpful in my weight loss journey, though I’m still on this journey and still a long way off being at my ideal weight.
The recipe ideas and the literature are great. But i really do miss my original group and mentor that I started with. I found I was more on track when in this group. I felt that I was committed to the program and to the group to make it work. Whereas now I’m feeling a little lost.

### ***** "Brilliant recipes"
So happy with second nature nature App so easy to use. Love the recipes never realised I could eat healthier foods and enjoy them so much.
-- Reggie’s mum, 2024-04-28

### ***** "Great value"
Second Nature gives you up to date dietary advice as well as covering other aspects of good health, such as sleep, stress, exercise. I cannot praise it highly enough.
-- cheapskatemum, 2024-04-18

### ***-- "From Phil Garnham York"
Hi,
I have yet lower my weight but I am progressing on other issues.
Steps are becoming impressive
Habits are being formed for sleep and the total hours have improved.
Drinking water is becoming regular and I think about hydration automatically now.
Exercise and meditation is still difficult. Other habits like eating are still work in progress.
-- Phil Gernon, 2024-03-28

### ***** "Great New App"
A great new app to help me make those important healthy lifestyle choices. It is simple & straightforward to use. Helpful daily reminders, informative short videos, recipe book…all important scales and articles to read packed with encouraging positive messages. My own personal health coach is available to encourage and give advice as well as a group chat with others on the same journey. I still have to put the work in to achieve my goals but overall I’m really impressed with Second Nature.
