Secret kiss with knight: Otome

I will be completely honest, it’ll be hard to play this game without paying any money. Sure, you can watch an ad to receive gems every 10 minutes but let’s be real, does anyone have time for that? And even if you do, the gems you save up is really not enough. The cheapest gem option is 75 while others can go up to 150. Not to mention, if you want to a certain route, you have to buy an outfit which I believe cost more than 500 gems. As someone who spent money on this game, don’t play this game. I feel as though the money I spent was not worth it. I also play Obey Me otome game and I haven’t paid money for that app once and yet enjoyed it a lot more than Secret Kiss with Knights. Also, the English translation is janky at times making it awkward to read. **spoilers** Okay you have been warned, from this section on I am writing my complaints from the story. Even if you choose the correct options, plus gem options and buying the outfit, you can’t go into their route unless you can make Morgan hate you less by 50% (beside Galahad). Which makes no sense to me, why do I have to better my relationship with Morgan to get Arthur’s, Merlin’s or Mordred’s ending? That absolutely makes zero sense to me and to be less hated by Morgan, you HAVE to choose the gem options meaning you have to pay more. I don’t agree with this because why does it matter what my relationship with Morgan is to be with Arthur or Merlin? They barely interact with each other in the story. Not to mention some of the “steamy” parts can be uncomfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed Galahad’s and Arthur’s route (spending nights with him and getting his ending). However, playing Merlin’s route and spending “nights” with him, his “steamy” part of the story was just… straight up r*pe. The MC just pounds Merlin without his consent and despite him telling MC *multiple* times to stop, she keeps going. Extremely disturbing. Merlin even cries and it just made me feel awful.

I really wish there was an easier way to earn gems, because the paid options can get really expensive. There’s also a lot of typos, which makes the game seem kinda unprofessional, but I love the storyline and the characters. There’s some decent spicy scenes - it always seems to get cut off short, though. Could be because I haven’t gone too far (on chapter eleven right now). But overall I like the game, and I’m glad I tried it out. There are just some things I mentioned that could be better.

One of the best otome games out there. I love the hints you can use to direct the storyline in the way you want. I always mess up those kinds of things in other games because my answers don't always match what they want me to say. I have been in my Merlin BBC feels lately, so this really hits home.

Maybe add in mini games or find rewards that are easier to obtain? That or don’t make almost every romantic option cost gems or lower the price on options. The game seems money hungry because of that. Unless you run through the free route a few times???

You can play this normally but you need to choose how you spend your gems very wisely and most endings require a certain object. You probably need 2000 gems to get a good ending.This game also has many typos but it’s not that bothersome.

I have played the first 3 episodes and it’s been quite fun! I payed the 3.99 for the removal of adds so maybe that’s another reason why I have enjoyed it more. I love the storyline and characters, and the art style too. I would recommend it!

the love interests are great and the art is pretty good but tbh please do not waste your time on this game. it is extremely hard to get an ending with the desired love interest you want if you do not want to spend money. it is hardcore pay to win. another thing is that there are a lot of spelling mistakes. i beg you im serious do not waste your time on the game. just watch a youtube video gameplay of it

This is the hottest a game can get on the App store, and I appreciate the creative ways used to toe the line. Genuinely thrilling at some points. Unfortunately, the translation could be much better with some simple mistakes fixed. For that I take away a star. The monetization of the game is pretty fair. You can experience everything the game has to offer completely for free, but you will need to replay it many times and watch many ads. Including potions and outfits, each route costs about 4,000 gems, needs about 8 runs of farming, therefore requiring 3-4 hours of straight-up watching ads and skipping through dialogue. Of course, you get extra gems in the mail, as daily rewards, and from your walk. It is not too overwhelming if you pace yourself. All the characters are attractive and different from one another. I’m not a fan of literally assaulting Merlin through his cries in his second night, and neither am I a fan of Morgan clearly distraught that we have been intimate using her body without her consent. Maybe it is a culture shock of some sort. Galahad is also the most boring character/route to me, but he is also the easiest, and it’s personal preference. Overall, I enjoy the game!

I'm not very far in yet but I love the inspiration for the storyline and from the very beginning you can tell that the characters have personality, there are some translation errors but they're very easy to ignore
