Video Connect®
• Enroll in Video Connect, schedule a video session with an incarcerated individual remotely from anywhere in the world where you have Wi-Fi or cellular data service at all Securus sites that offer Video Connect.
• Enroll in Video Connect subscriptions (where available)
• Access and view your upcoming scheduled video sessions
• Sync details of upcoming video sessions with your calendar
• Receive notifications for upcoming video sessions
• Manage photos for identification, view transaction history and manage credit/debit cards
• Test Wi-Fi/cellular connection to determine quality of Video Connect
*For best results and to reduce echo, use a headset or ear buds with microphone for Video Connect
Prepaid Calling Account Management for You
AdvanceConnect – fund this account to receive calls to the phone numbers you choose from your contact. You can:
• Enroll and add funds to AdvanceConnect account to always be ready for a call
• Select a call subscription package (where available)
• See available funds
• Add or change phone numbers that can receive calls
• View call details and transaction summary
• View the last call attempt to a number
• Block or unblock calls
• Enroll in AutoPay or TextPay
• Update or change credit/debit card information
Securus Debit – deposit funds to this account for your contact to use for:
• Calling any number they choose
• Purchase music, games and movies for their tablet
• Schedule and pay for a Video Connect session
• Purchase stamps to send eMessages and eCards

Low contrast—hard for older people to read!
This app is inferior to the older Jpay app in every way. Pictures in the lowest resolution; pictures that you cannot enlarge or download to your phone; much more expensive “stamps” because of add-on charges; etc. But the worst issue (and easiest to fix) is the horrible low contrast screen. Light gray screen background either slightly darker gray letters in small font = very difficult reading for older people. I can barely read messages and may be forced to stop using the app. I have no problems with any other app because they use contrasting fonts. My eye doctor asked me to stop using the Securus app because it is straining and damaging my eyes.
Not so great
Been trying for three full days to schedule a visit and it has been experiencing technical difficulties the whole time. They won’t let you schedule in person so unless they get their app working I can’t go see my sister.
Useless app Does nothing
Doesn’t work, still waiting on a refund after closing 1st account, opened a new one, stamps still don’t work, my mother was never able to call using this money I put on this account, I instead had to go to correct pay and she just buys phone calls with her money I deposit on there. Useless app
HORRIBLE
this app stay freezing not allowing you to log in. And it’s slow
Errors
This app has issues almost daily. We pay good money for it to not work. Messages come in late or get sent late. Half the time I can’t even get into the app it’s always erroring out!
Horrible
I can’t do anything on the app but check balance and call history. Every time I try to sign up for messaging, video calls or trying to send funds I get error messages. It’s frustrating. I have to call the automated to add funds or add family members numbers. I couldn’t even update my address. This app is useless
Can’t find the jail I need
When trying to set everything up to do either emesseging or video chats it doesn’t give my boyfriends jail as an option but to send him money it gives me the option of the jail, but here’s the thing his family can use the emesseging and video without a problem finding his jail but it doesn’t show up for me….

Messages are ALWAYS days late.
I really hate this app
You will check the version history and see bug fixes and feel hopeful or discouraged...so many bug fixes and yet nothing is truly fixed. This app crashes more than a lot. You will have to save your letter in a note and copy and paste (a luxury not afforded to our loved ones) to maintain any semblance of your sanity. You will find yourself typing up a letter in the app only for it to disappear, glitch, or save it in a draft to come back and find a previously sent letter in its place if a draft still exists at all. I really can't believe we are charged to use this disgrace to technology. The monopoly on services to the incarcerated and their loved ones is truly deplorable. There is no way Securus really stands a chance in other populations. I sincerely hope that the state my loved ones in, consider a new vendor once this contract is up. In a high stress situation, nobody deserves this quality of a product. Perhaps if the executive suite members were on the other side they'd pay to have quality engineers or stop sparing on expenses that would allow the engineers they have to produce quality work. This isn't it! Paper and ink are more advanced. If this state allowed letters in from the mail, I would stop utilizing this service 100%. I'm ready to tell my loved one we can communicate via phone, but the servicer of that medium is no better!

This app is ok I can send messages just fine most of the time but other than that you can’t schedule a video call or anything it just keeps saying that there’s a system error camp process and it’s been like that for months now
