Seed Oil Scout: Healthy Dining

It seems like this app isn’t big in sydney, there are only a few restaurants that report as seed oil free. There are maybe 15 restaurants with information on them and like 4 are good.

App does not work like advertised! It is stuck on restraint option I feel robbed and want my money back. Very very unhappy!!!!!!!!!! Unhappy feel robbed zero support access! I want support or my money back!!!!!

Must sign up I a subscription before you can even use the app. Nope. Deleted.

I reckon there are well over 3000+ restaurants in Sydney not counting cafes and food trucks. This app has reviewed about 50 of them with absolutely none in my area. I understand this might be a new app but asking people to pay a subscription fee for this is a complete scam. It includes the rubbish survey at the start then “builds your food profile” before of course asking for a subscription. Don’t even bother. Google search tells you everything you need to know about a restaurant. If you need ideas for places I’ve found a reddit search gives me more ideas.

Has some restaurants listed in Melbourne CBD but there are wayyy more restaurants that ive been to that are not on the list. Sure i can post but paying $40 a year for a glorified google maps list is stupid

I can’t even see a way to use the ‘free’ version of this app just get a subscription forced down my throat. I appreciate what this app is doing but to try and make and ability to avoid seed oils a luxury and using peoples aversion to them purely as a source of profit is nearly as bad as putting them into food in the first place

Charging users for what exactly? It’s a platform that requires users to review and add restaurants

Honestly, the people behind this app have created something really important moving forward. The more pressure restaurants get to stop using seed oils can only be a good thing. Having said that.. why the hell would you put ads on the app? It just baffles the mind.
