## Seek Thermal Reviews in United States

### *---- "Never works"
I can never get this app to work properly it will come on and immediately close out. I can get nobody to contact me about this issue. Why??? I paid the money for the camera but it’s no freaking good if the app doesn’t work!!
-- Kimmy25350, 2025-08-30

### *---- "Stopped working on iPhone 13 and does not work on 14 or 16 with adapter"
The app has always been problematic. You have to open it a couple times to make it work and then once it recognizes the camera it may take a few minutes for an image to show up. I have a Seek Compact that i purchased last year, when I emailed for support they told me it was manufactured in 2017. Anyways when I connect the camera to my phone the app will recognize that I have a Seek Compact plugged in but the screen stays black. I read the other reviews and someone mentioned they tried turning cellular data off and trying again, unfortunately for me this did not work.
-- FaceTime poppet, 2025-07-07

### *---- "Will not connect"
App does recognize when unit is connected to iPhone 12.

I got it to connect for 5 minutes after rebooting, then nothing.

Unit works fine on old iPhone 7.

Data transfer and charging works fine on the iPhone 12 but this does not.

I was forced to update the IOS version on my iPhone 7 to use iTunes. Now it does not work on that device either and I can’t downgrade.
-- Boring2553785787567475, 2025-05-16

### *---- "Absolute Trash"
Just a garbage pile of an app that doesn’t work. Return your camera and buy something that is maintained.
-- Butchyy, 2025-04-11

### *---- "Can’t make it work on my iPhone 14"
I have not used my camera in a couple of years and I only used it a couple of times when I first bought it. I have since upgraded to an iPhone 14 Pro. It seems to connect but there is no image on my phone as if it’s not really on. Not sure what to adjust.
-- Wudbutcher, 2025-02-22

### **--- "Embarrassing Performance"
I finished a wiring job on a new cabin today and performed some electrical load tests, using the Seek Thermal Compact I bought maybe six years ago for numerous thermal images important to the quality assurance of my work. I was using an iPhone 13, which shouldn't have been an issue. But the Seek Thermal app crashed so many times that I lost count! So if you see a growing chorus of complaints about this app, it might be a good idea to take both notice and corrective actions. Let me see an UPDATE, and MAYBE I'll consider upgrading to a new Seek Thermal Nano.
-- Dör Dagligen, 2024-11-23

### *---- "Freezes up"
Garbage freezes playing their training videos. Junk returning sleek thermal pro.
-- Techy45, 2024-11-21

### *---- "Solution to make Seek work"
I own an original Seek Thermal Compact with Lightning connector and like many of you we’re not only disappointed by the unit no longer working on newer iPhones but the lack of support by the company. I have finally found a workaround to get the unit working on my iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 18.1.

Go into your iOS System Settings for the app and turn-off “Cellular Data” in the settings. These are the settings in the System Settings, not within the app software. Now after launching the app I can plugin my Seek Camera and it is recognized again.
-- Media Baron, 2024-11-06

### **--- "Horrible UI"
This is a horrible app. The UI is completely unpredictable. It’s classic “mystery meat” navigation. At least try yall
-- JohnusVonGolden, 2024-10-08

### **--- "Flir time?"
I have not used the app in a while, but something has to be fixed.
I need to use it under the current iOS 18, but the shutter button doesn’t work.
Granted I can take picture with a screenshot, but that’s not the purpose of a shutter button, now is it?
