Before: They did what they advertised. You don’t have credit, you pay them to monthly for secured loan and when you meet that threshold, you could choose to cash out via debit card they’d send or to your bank account. Now: They send never send that money you paid into secure loan back. They send you a debit card that you pay monthly with interest on from money you’ve put into account and even if you’re not using that card, they charge you. Then it adversely makes hits on your credit score. There’s no way to actually remove card or shut down your account now. If you try to do it via their website, think again. They use a third party that you have to call and then they place you on hold and hang up or you stay in transferred lines until you hang up.
