I find it very helpful reading self help. I feel better in myself with the help. I have received from my mental health doctor time to time I go back and I read the leaflets just knowing they’re there tip of my finger. It’s very comforting and very helpful thank you

Highly recommend

I started using this about a year ago. There are lots of files to choose from and covers many things that people might struggle with. The description of different anxieties nearly made me weep… there must be lots of folk out there who suffer like I do. The one about health anxiety was excellent too. I started to do the “ worry diary “ that was suggested was a real help to me. After several weeks I’d got on top of my constant anxiety and felt lots better. Now when I feel my anxiety levels creeping up again I listen again to the files and start my worry diary again. I’d have a worry through the day and let it go and keep for my evening worry diary, it got that I’d completely forget something that had worried me earlier in the day. Highly recommend.

Extremely annoying

Not sure where audio files are downloaded to and unable to listen to anything unless I keep my phone active by touching the screen every 30 seconds or so. This is very badly thought out approach and annoying.

Self help

If I ever need help I will NEVER use this booklet. none of the techniques can help especially when you struggle with mental health to the extent that a lot of people do, fro example a cup of tea isn’t going to calm me down and or the same for a lot of people. It’s becoming a joke the fact I’ve been asking for help for my issues for years and I get given a booklet that basically tells me to go on a “walk” or “put ear phones in when I’m hearing voices in my head”. Society is pathetic and so is the NHS and other mental health organisations as every where you look you see numbers to ring when you need help and it’s wrong that your problems get disregarded and it’s such a shame it takes someone to take their life or harm themselves to make anyone care. It’s pathetic and sad to be honest.

These are great resources for anyone who is keen to help themselves with a variety of self-help strategies and techniques for common mental health issues. I often recommend these to patients while waiting for therapy or for those who are just looking for some hints and tips to try independently. If used well these can help a lot of people to help themselves

Absolute rubbish

When you open the app you have 2 things to do. Look at abuse information and look at a sheet. I’m not even being abused. This didn’t help my depression at all.
