## Selfpause Description
Selfpause is the affirmations app that lets you record affirmations in your own voice — the most personal, proven way to change how you talk to yourself. Layer your words over calming soundscapes and listen on repeat.
RECORD IN YOUR OWN VOICE
Your brain responds most powerfully to your own voice. Write an affirmation, record it, add background sound, and listen anywhere. It's the feature our community loves most — and few other apps offer it.
1,000+ GUIDED AFFIRMATIONS
Confidence. Sleep. Money. Calm. Self-love. Focus. Browse a deep library across every area of life, with new sessions added regularly.
CALMING SOUNDSCAPES
Rain, ocean, forest, white noise, and gentle music. Layer them under your affirmations to set the perfect tone.
SMART DAILY REMINDERS
Get the right affirmation at the right moment, so practice becomes a habit that actually sticks.
YOUR AI COACH
Talk through what's on your mind, spot negative self-talk patterns, and get personalized affirmations built around your goals.
SLEEP & MORNING ROUTINES
Start the day grounded and drift off reinforced. Short, five-minute sessions fit even the busiest schedule.
TRUSTED SINCE 2020
Before the wave of AI affirmation apps, there was Selfpause — six years, hundreds of five-star reviews, and one idea: your own voice is the most powerful way to rewire your mind.

## Selfpause Reviews in United States

### ***** "Best Affirmation App"
Excellent
-- K Wangler, 2025-06-08

### ***** "Good for child"
My kids say that it is funny app.
-- Tivshn cdhjb, 2024-12-11

### ****- "Good but removed a feature I loved"
I used to be able to loop affirmations and still play other music and hear the affirmations. I miss it a lot
-- Xeroine, 2024-12-02

### ***** "Overall good"
I love the affirmation recordings and the fact that there is now AI coaching. I’m not a fan of the sounds. The affirmation recordings make up for that.
-- keela50, 2024-10-13

### ***** "Great for looping"
Love the app. Being able to record your own affirmations makes it alot easier to believe and not like your listening to a recorded robot. It’s more personal and I believe your subconscious believes it more when it’s you.
-- mericson20, 2024-09-27

### ***** "Great Start to Day"
This app has helped stop negative thoughts. I find myself thinking negatively as soon as I wake up. If you struggle to get out of bed, dread your day, or just don’t wake up with that content feeling, a few minutes with this app can change that. We do have to remind ourselves of our worth especially if we don’t have those positive minded family and friends to do that for us. We need more encouragement than we think and this will help you focus your mind on more positive things.
-- Cottle77Me, 2024-09-15

### *---- "They will take your money"
I asked for a refund. They have no number no email and that seems very unprofessional. I called the day they charged me because I forgot about the trial but I’m human and make mistakes. I was able to try to reach out to them three the app but couldn’t. I wouldn’t recommend a service this difficult to get in touch with they only care about taking money.
-- Kianna Perry, 2024-08-06

### ***** "I love this app!"
I’ve been looking for something where i can use binaural beats and color noise. This app is genius. I wish i could adjust the pace of the voice recording and sounds but other than that, it’s great.
-- asdfusichsbdk, 2024-05-17

### ***** "Excellent tool"
Loving it
-- NPB Surf Rider, 2024-03-03

### ****- "Great App"
Let’s you do a lot without having to pay for all the features but I would like to have other features.
-- Anna Jean Maples, 2024-01-07
