The scanner is so sensitive that it’s easy to add multiple instances of the same item to the basket. 
The delete item just doesn’t work and returns an error. 
The only way is to delete the whole basket and start again.

Used these guys in the past and the service was great the first time. The second time, they had issues locating my parcel and I had to chase them up for payment for a week or so… most recently (June 24), I scanned my order and “completed” it. No confirmation email, no response from customer services and all of the postage label and contact us links yield “not secure” or “not found” results. Go elsewhere if I were you!!

It took 3.5 weeks for SellItBack to mark my package as having arrived — major delays in their warehouse? I wasn’t kept informed, and thought I wouldn’t get paid at all. And their password reset email was sent showing my password in plain text! Terrible, terrible security practices. It seems a young & overwhelmed company, which might go out of business soon? Not trustworthy — try WeBuyBooks instead.

Hours of painstakingly scanning in books, carefully packaging them into boxes and sending them via courier for absolute pittance.

I was told the value of all the books I was sending was potentially £31 and whilst I didn’t expect to receive all that money once qualify checks were completed, I was horrified to find I’d been paid around 84p

Don’t waste your time with this app, use musicmagpie or Ziffit who will pay you something close to what you’re promised.

My experience of this company was tantamount to robbery.

So I scanned about 38 books and got a value of £23.72 I was like ok and but the books in a box and sent it over to them. They then processed the books and deducted about £3 which I found weird but I just looked past it. Today I received payment of £8.92 so I called them and they said that they couldn’t process some books and some were damaged so in total they deducted about £14.80 from my order so I advise you not to use this app as there may be some complications.

I got given a quarter of the offered price. I sent a shipment of 15 books and apparently there were problems with 11 of them, yet 6 of them were brand new books so God knows what’s wrong with those. When I’ve sent books to other apps, they only reject 1 maybe 2 max. Much better to use them instead. They also don’t even tell what was ‘wrong’ with them like the other apps do too.
