## Send2Corrections Description
Sign up for a free account on the Western Union Send2Corrections app and send money to an inmate the easy way. You can register for a free Western Union money transfer profile via the app or website. Once you have, it's as simple as choosing 'Pay Inmate' to get started with transferring money securely to loved ones in prison or jail. At Western Union, we empower you to pay your own way, with payments available from a credit/debit card.
 
You'll need to have the inmate's name, account number and their correctional facility in hand for a smooth transaction. Each money transfer is allocated a Money Transfer Control Number (or MTCN) for tracking, to give you complete peace of mind. The MTCN is given on the receipt of each money transfer set up for simple money transfer tracking. In the app you'll also be able to review your transaction history and save account details for previous financial receivers. Western Union Send2Corrections money transfer is available for both federal and state prisons, as well as county jail. 
 
With the Send2Corrections app you can send money to correctional facilities in a flash, with multiple in-app security features available for your protection, including: 
 
 • Manual or Face ID login, plus multi-factor authentication
 • Password reset via app or web 24/7

Put all of inmates info in correctly- once it was confirmed I checked back and it stated another inmate received the money. Even researched the inmate, they’re in another state with a BOP# nothing CLOSE to what I put in for my inmate. Also, said the total was 18.95 at checkout (15+3.95 fee) and then charged my card 28.95. Please trust the reviews. So now an inmate I do not know is seeing that I’ve sent him money and IDK him, and the app needs your precise location to use it? Safety concern, extra charges- do not use.

I’m sure it works and it’s legit but my success rate is zero. Set up seemed easy enough though I received a prompt after providing my information directing me to call them. The representatives are not very clear on the next steps and ask for more information without reasoning.  I was put on hold multiple times before ending the conversation. Again, I was unsuccessful. Best to you.

The app needs some bugs fixed asap! It takes your card info yet no option to use the card. It wouldn’t accept my password and when I changed it with the “forgot Password” option, it continued not accepting the password. And also the app is unclear showing no transparency on what any charges are per transaction or any prices on any feature.

I used app to send to inmate. Followed all directions. It required payment in person, went to Walmart. Showed them MTCN with email and phone number I used with WU. 
Walmart said they could not find the order. Called WU stayed on hold they could not resolve. No money sent to inmate. Useless app. Deleted it.
