ServerCat - SSH Terminal

This application has been very good for years, the latest build 1.13(422) loses connection and doesn’t update without a force close /open on ios18 stable channel iPhone 16PM I have given 1 star because there is no support email on the linked app home page.

Sent numerous email to report bug but no response. App keeps crashing on iOS 18.

Installing this app in is 18 died not sync servers or jets and instead leaves you with the demo server entry. The app is unpractical to use in this state, no matter gore fix the other features are.

If this had more or even the correct primary Ethernet for servers with multiple interfaces it would help. It simply doesn’t capture correct network interface transfer rates from what I’m seeing.

I tried other iPadOS SSH Terminal apps that were cheaper, and it cost me time. I noticed this was something I had already tried some time ago but let fall off my system. I re-downloaded it to find ssh requires the Premium in-app purchase, which was likely why I moved on. Tonight I decided to try again with the Premium upgrade, under us$20. At first I was disappointed the real statistics only come out on Linux servers, but once I figured out how they want you to copy keys to servers I was very happy to get secure connections through the ssh terminal at that price. This is now in my short-list of utility apps for when I don’t have access to Apple Remote Desktop. Nicely done. A couple of nits. I would like a Clear Log button. I would like the key Copy to require fewer steps to get it into a server. I would like sessions to color code for active or idle . I would add that if you do not have Linux servers, you are limited to bringing up remote shells andmuch of the interface of the app is clutter. I wish, for example, it could see my macOS Containers.

Very nice tool and I enjoy using it. Only issue is if I reopen the app after a period of time, it will not update the server stats/data again until I kill and reopen the app
