Saved, never opened again. The link your mom texted you? Buried in Messages. The TikTok you liked? Lost in a sea of saves. You didn’t forget them. They just never turned into something you could cook from. Sesame turns each one into a recipe you can actually make. SAVE FROM ANYWHERE • Instagram posts and Reels • TikTok • YouTube • Facebook and Pinterest • Any food blog or recipe site • Text you paste in • Up to three photos of a cookbook page or a long screenshot, merged into one recipe You can also share straight from the app you're already in. Tap share, pick Sesame, and the import starts in front of you. What you get back is the recipe. No ads, no life stories, no scrolling. YOUR PERSONAL COOKBOOK • Everything you've saved in one place, and a search that finds it • Collections like Easy Dinners, Desserts, or Meal Prep • A grocery list that adds up amounts across recipes, sorts by aisle, and remembers what's already in your kitchen • Send a recipe by link. It opens as a real web page for people who don't have Sesame, and keeps the credit to whoever posted it GROCERY LIST • Add a recipe's ingredients with one tap • The same ingredient from different recipes gets added up • Sorted by aisle, and you can rearrange the aisles • Spices and oils you've bought before show up under "Probably in your kitchen", so you can skip them • Share the list, and it's backed up to your account COOK MODE • Full screen, one step at a time • Ingredients are in bold in each step, so you can see what to grab • Tap a time in the instructions to start a timer • The screen stays awake while your hands are covered in flour CONVERT & SCALE • Switch any recipe between imperial and metric • Cups to grams that account for the ingredient, because a cup of flour and a cup of honey aren't the same weight • Scale the servings and every quantity follows TRANSLATE ANY RECIPE • Saved a recipe in Spanish, French, Italian or another language? Tap once and read it in English • Every amount is checked against the original, so a teaspoon never turns into a tablespoon • Switch back to the original whenever you want FREE VS PREMIUM Free forever: 10 recipes, one photo import, one recipe translation, and the grocery list. Premium unlocks unlimited saves, cook mode, converter, PDF export, and unlimited photo imports and translations. 7-day free trial on annual. Recipes you type in yourself never count toward the weekly limit, and deleting a recipe doesn't give a save back. Everything you've saved stays yours on either plan. WHY IT COSTS WHAT IT COSTS Most recipe apps can save a web page. Sesame reads video. It takes the caption and what the cook says out loud, which is how a recipe that only ever existed in someone's Reel comes back to you as an ingredient list and numbered steps. Sesame is a small team, and we answer all support emails. The user experience is much smoother and not as cluttery other similar apps are. You also get a good bit of recipes saved on the free version so kind of a no brainer to use it. Love using the custom folders -- gdl19, 2026-07-24 ### ***** "Great app for cooking! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️" This app has been HUGE for my cooking game. I used to have misc. Instagram reels/posts saved for recipes I liked and/or wanted to try to cook that I forgot about. Sesame makes it easy for me to have a centralized repository of my favorite recipes - steps, ingredients and everything you may need. Support has been great too. Had a product question and founder replied directly in minutes. -- foodie270, 2026-06-12 ### ***** "Time Saver!!!" I was constantly forgetting where I found recipes. This app keeps everything in one place and makes finding them later so much easier - also saves so much time. I no longer have to scroll through ads to find my ingredients list! Big fan. -- Lo Healy, 2026-06-09 ### ***** "Exactly what I needed" I appreciate how simple the saving and organizing of recipes is. I find other apps clunky and too complicated -- Bob5201, 2026-06-08 ### ***** "Great app + time saver!" Super user friendly and easy to use. Love being able to track all of recipes I see on social media in one place without having to dig through all of my saves! -- kmckenna03, 2026-06-08 [View all Sesame reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Sesame In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Sesame Premium Annual | $34.99 | | Sesame Premium Monthly | $34.99 | ## Apps Similar to Sesame - [Illegal Pete’s App](https://apptail.io/app/illegal-petes-app-YwGb/united-states) - [Truffle: Restaurant Tracker](https://apptail.io/app/truffle-restaurant-tracker-CaJb/united-states) - [Zerocater](https://apptail.io/app/zerocater-SeLb/united-states) - [Pintxos](https://apptail.io/app/pintxos-ARJc/united-states) - [Tap & Bottle](https://apptail.io/app/tap-bottle-Lxai/united-states) - [Honest Greens](https://apptail.io/app/honest-greens-Xfmo/united-states) - [Square Pie Guys - Order Now](https://apptail.io/app/square-pie-guys-order-now-pFJu/united-states) - [SafeEats: Food Label Scanner](https://apptail.io/app/safeeats-food-label-scanner-Cjqw/united-states) - [Tikka & Grill, Nepali](https://apptail.io/app/tikka-grill-nepali-mtSx/united-states) - [I'm a Chef!](https://apptail.io/app/im-a-chef-CNgz/united-states) ## Sesame Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/united-states) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/azerbaijan) - [Bahrain](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/bahrain) - [Brunei](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/brunei) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/canada) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/china) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/ecuador) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/spain) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/australia) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/india) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/malaysia) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/norway) - [Oman](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/oman) - [Qatar](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/qatar) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/sweden) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/turkey) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/sesame-recipe-saver-chkA/united-kingdom) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
