Session - Private Messenger

Apple Watch showing a preview of my chat. Seems to be no way to turn that off which is a privacy concern. Also, messages occasionally not making their way to the recipient. Could be due to low network coverage. You would expect it to give you the resend option (as it does with media) but not the case with text at times. Closing and reopening app is needed regularly to help solve combat this.

Overall a good app! Have found that sometimes it’s quite laggy and some messages won’t go through, even when signal/ internet is fine on both ends

App wouldn’t send notifications. Contacted support and had to jump through hoops and do backflips in order to attempt a resolution. Still failed to function correctly and support ceased to respond to my emails. There’s absolutely no use for a messenger app that refuses to notify. Don’t waste your time.

I’m trying to use the app but I can’t access any groups on my account

Wrote a review giving 3stars Nov 5 and stating how exasperating it was using an iPad in landscape mode, then having to physically turn the iPad to portrait mode to send links and comments. This was a feature of Sessions some 12months + back but disappeared for some reason. Well it’s back now 2 weeks after I posted the original review and I have upped my rating to 5stars, thanks to the developers honest response and action. Great app👍

I am getting notifications for messages but no messages appear ?! My friend has been sending the messages but they are just not coming through, what’s going on here !!!

but can we have ipad optimised client pls. Also ios vpn client. Now that would be just incredible. Def 6 stars. Very Merry to you all.
