Navigate walls, traps, and a moving exit by drawing rule cards that alter the layout. Your goal is to reach the exit before the maze becomes impassable or you run out of moves. The grid consists of walls, open spaces, traps, the hero, and the exit. Your hero moves up, down, left, or right—no diagonal moves allowed. Each turn, you draw a card that modifies the maze: rotate a row, shift a column, add or remove walls, swap areas, or move the exit. You decide when to apply these effects and can even save a card for later in advanced levels. After applying a card’s effect, the maze updates and you make one move with your hero. If the hero gets caught inside a wall, you may have to undo your move or risk defeat. Failure occurs if you exceed the move limit, step onto a trap, or become trapped in an impossible maze. Progress through four chapters that increase in difficulty and introduce new mechanics. Chapter 1 focuses on row and column shifts to teach strategic thinking. Chapter 2 adds wall placement, removal, and traps, requiring careful navigation. Chapter 3 brings area swaps, dramatically changing the maze in a single move, with both fixed puzzles and random levels. Chapter 4 introduces exit-moving cards, forcing you to adapt plans as the goal shifts unpredictably. Shadow Rule Deck Maze combines spatial reasoning with tactical decisions in a constantly evolving environment.
