## ShakyBraves Description
ShakyBraves is a pet heart health monitoring and tracking tool designed to help dog and cat owners monitor heart disease (MVD, DCM, ARVC, PDA, TVD, HCM, RCM, and more), including signs associated with congestive heart failure (CHF), with clarity and confidence.

Recommended by cardiologists and vets, the report gives them the between-visit picture they actually need to make better decisions for your pet.

Built around resting respiratory rate (RRR) monitoring, one of the most important at-home indicators for heart disease progression and congestive heart failure (CHF), ShakyBraves makes it simple to track, understand, and share your dog or cat’s health data over time.

Whether your dog or cat was recently diagnosed or you're managing long-term care, ShakyBraves helps you stay consistent and organized between vet visits.

CORE FEATURES

Breathing Rate Dashboard
Track your pet’s resting respiratory rate over months or years with a clear trend graph.

Guided Breath Counter
Use a 30- or 60-second timer for dogs, or a 15- or 30-second timer for cats, with a simple tap-to-count interface.

Automatic BPM Calculation
Breaths are instantly converted to breaths per minute — no math required.

Personalized Baseline
Build your pet’s unique 7-day baseline to detect meaningful changes.

RRR Logs & Filters
Filter by time of day, activity level, and state to identify patterns.

History Import
Import historical resting respiratory rate (RRR) data from Cardalis or your own records to preserve trends and establish a longer-term baseline.

Medication Tracking
Medication Insights Track medications with dosage and schedule details, and see adherence trends over time, including per-medication breakdowns and missed dose history.

Smart Reminders
Never miss a breathing check or medication dose.

Heart Health Report
Generate a secure, read-only report link to share with your vet or cardiologist. It updates automatically, so your vet can save it once and always have your pet's latest data. No resending required.

Care Team Sharing
Add your vet and cardiologist for streamlined communication.

Web Portal Access
View trends and reports from any browser.

Multi-Pet Support
Monitor multiple pets in one place.

Optional Symptom Check-Ins
- Breathing Effort Check-Ins
Track changes in your pet's breathing effort over time with structured, condition-aware check-ins.
- Exercise Tolerance Check-Ins
Monitor how much activity your pet can handle — an early and important indicator of cardiac progression.
- Symptom & Trend Tracking
Track coughing, appetite changes, energy levels, breathing changes, and other symptoms over time to help identify patterns and support earlier conversations with your vet.
In-App Feedback
Share ideas and improvements directly with the team.

Designed for Cardiac Monitoring. Built for the Long Haul.

ShakyBraves was originally built for Mitral Valve Disease (MVD) monitoring in dogs and now supports tracking for other cardiac conditions such as DCM, ARVC, PDA, TVD, HCM, and RCM, helping pet parents stay organized, proactive, and informed throughout their dog or cat’s cardiac journey.

Medical Disclaimer

ShakyBraves is designed to help pet parents track resting respiratory rate and organize health information. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment advice and is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always consult your veterinarian regarding your pet’s health and before making medical decisions. Built with ACVIM (American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) consensus guidance in mind, especially around at-home resting respiratory rate monitoring for cardiac patients.
