UPDATE: the app can be purchased for further progression only through the Behrman house *website* (not from within the app). Cost is $15 to unlock the rest of the lessons. Updating from 1 to 3 stars. Initial review: This was really working well for me but I cannot unlock levels beyond level 5. I would be happy to purchase more levels but can't figure out how Interface is dated but the pedagogy is effective
Everything about this app is really good, the only issue is that it doesn’t let you pass lesson 5.
In order to get past level 5, you have to log in their website and then you can purchase the app for $14.95. You would think they would tell you that in the app description.

Not many apps are challenging teaching the basics and progressively teach easily stepping from one concept to the next. This app DOES! It starts w/the basics & rehearses each letter & sound then uses it in a practical manner including practicing writing the letters & teaching you to spell. GREAT JOB!! Approaches Hebrew from a bascic level & from different aspects. LOVE this app!! 🥇🏆🎖😃👍🏼
I love this app. I just wish it worked past lesson five. Despite having 100% on previous lessons it won’t unlock further lessons. Extremely frustrating.
How do I move past lesson 5???
We have completed lesson 5. I went to settings to unlock the other lessons, but that did nothing. So I ask how do I move on to the next level? We really like this app though. It is very helpful in teaching my children Hebrew, and I don't want my children to lose interest in this app.
This game is good but it won’t let me pass level 5 and it wont let you past level 1 in the games. The letter practice is glitchy and some times wont let you pass. Sometimes it crashes. I really wish they would fix these problems so I can use it for school!
This app has really helped kickstart my journey to learn Hebrew! It’s both effective and fun! My only complaint is that most of the lesson audio plays through the phone ear speaker, rather than through the speaker at the bottom (which would be much easier to hear). It sounds fine with headphones, but when I don’t have them handy it is nearly impossible to hear the lessons (thus only 4 stars). Otherwise, I’ve really enjoyed using the app!
