1 Schedule a Day Limit
this app does what it needs to do. you can start and stop cleaning, create no-go zones, and create an automatic run schedule. but you can only have one schedule a day. a schedule in the morning and a schedule in the evening would be perfect. i have a morning schedule for after everyone has breakfast and leaves the house. but currently, i have to manually run the robot after dinner and everyone has settled down. i want to have more than 1 schedule a day!
Persistent Bugs
The app is ok but there have been too many persistent bugs. 1. App will randomly ask me to login again. Not the most convenient thing when I’m stepping out of the house and quickly want to start a clean. 2. On switching modes from cleaning entire house to map, room selection doesn’t work. I have to go to another tab and then it’ll work. 🤷🏻♂️ Update: These bugs seem to have been fixed but a new one has shown up. The Roomba gets stuck in “Returning to Dock” status and can’t be controlled from the app.
Slow to respond
Communicating with the Shark is a hassle. It takes up to 20-25 seconds to “locate” the Shark, another 20-25 to communicate and another 20-25 for the Shark to receive the command. Everything is in slow motion. It’s extremely tedious to manage Sharks from this app.
Fine, But
The shark robovac is fine, but it frequently disconnects with my wifi. Customer service helps me reconnect.
Software lacking
No widgets? No homekit support? Not even shortcut controls? I feel like these are the basic things when it comes to smart home products. The hardware is great but the software is really lacking. Please, please give us these simple features.
Terrible
Vacuum won’t map my house. Just gets off dock and returns. Can’t get any support to fix the problem.
Great machine, awful app
I am honestly shocked that this app has such high ratings. I really like the vacuum that we have, but this app is nothing short of a headache. First of all, it signs me out after most uses. It requires me to put in my email address and password almost every time I login, even when I tell it to remember me.It is also a very slow app and I find it very difficult to navigate.
Connecting to Newer phones
Issue connecting to newer phone, please re test the connectivity and update the application. Cleaning and mopping is good
Love it, but needs some tweaking please
Wish I could remap on of my already labeled sections/rooms vs the entire house again.
