WiFi Won’t Connect
I can’t get past connecting. Follow the steps to “A8” the look for the Sharp Air and nothing ever shows up on my WiFi list. The app might be good if I could use it.

The app is impossible to install. The instructions seems to be written by a 3 year old. Come on Sharp, hire a professional app developer and provide something that works.
I am stuck in an infinite loop of signing in and then the app crashes so I have to sign in again
Really from the worst smart app starting from difficulty to pairing devices with failed results and the worst customer support
It has all the functionality I could need for my air purifier but it crashes constantly. And when it crashes, logging in again is required and takes additional time to get the app back open
READ THIS TO HELP CONNECT MACHINE TO WIFI ON APP WITHOUT WPS BUTTON When trying to set up the Sharp KCP110UW to connect to my home network, the app instructions say to turn off the machine, hold the fan button for three seconds, tap Auto to change the display to “A”, then tap the fan button to “set”. What it leaves out is that you need to keep tapping the fan button to get to a specific setting for initial setup to work. In my case this was A8 (p. EN-26–EN-28 in the manual). Then I had to go to my phone’s WiFi settings, and the sharp air appeared as a network connection. I connected my phone to it, went back to the app, THEN I could finish setup and get it connected to my home router. The instructions for this are incredibly unclear, as the app leaves out the need to go to a specific setting, then just keeps redirecting you to the settings app without telling you what to do. I only figured it out by combing through the manual to find the settings page + piecing together some bits of info scattered in the manual like breadcrumbs. Once it finally connected though, things appear to be fairly smooth so far. I don’t like that I have to manually refresh every time I want to see the current air quality readings, even if several hours have passed since the last refresh. The layout of the app is also pretty awkward/clunky for my iPhone 14 display, could use some polishing (feels too long vertically). Otherwise it’s functional enough.
Garbage. It just doesn’t work with my KCP110U. Everytime I tried to pair with my router (without WPS), it just send me to the Sharp Air app’s system setting with no further instruction. Then when I come back to the Sharp Air app itself, it just says it can’t find any appliance.
DON'T KNOW WHAT'S THE PROBLEM. THIS APP WONT PAIR WITH THIS MODEL: AH-XP13XHVE... SOLVE THIS AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR OTHER REGION'S
About every third time I open the app, I am forced to agree to the usage form and submit credentials. Same phone, same network and same settings. Never logged out. Just a pain.
I downloaded this app before there was a weekly scheduler. But now it’s finally added and extremely useful. I don’t have to worry anymore about my air purifier being on too much or not especially given my new work schedule. I also like the filter life status too so I know when to replace them.
