Buggy
Made me log in twice today. Then reset all my preferences. Too bad because when it works it’s very convenient.
Be careful using this app
I had a problem using this app accidentally purchased a car wash I didn’t need. If this happens you will NOT get a refund.
App not working
Several times I’ve missed out on AirMiles rewards due to Shell app not working.
No charging!
Downloaded this app a few months ago so I would be ready incase I needed to charge somewhere. Could not get it to work even after I initiated a charge session at a charger I was sitting in front of. Called the help line. The agent told me I had the wrong app installed. I needed “Shell Recharge” even though this one says fuel, charge, wash! Had to download it put in my CC info. What a pain. Why have EV chargers show up if they can’t be used. Hopefully it will work the next time I need it.
Pay through app broken for months
Pay through app used to work intermittently. It’s been months since it last worked for me.
Annoying
Latest update makes me log in every time I open the app which isn’t exactly conducive to speedy fill ups; super annoying .
Not Happy
When I try to gas up In Dryden Ontario the app try’s to activate the pumps in FortFrances Ontario so you cannot fill up update - the last time I went to the pump and tried again it did work properly
Linkage issue
App is very buggy in that the connection between air miles and the app tends to break. Solution at the pump is to perpetually disconnect and reconnect Airmiles which is super frustrating. It has been happening for over 6 months now
Good app - when it works
First problem is that it doesn’t seem to accepted at all stations. There have been a few in my location that don’t accept the app. The other problem I encounter is that about 15-20% it just doesn’t work. I hit the Pay at the Pump option and get an error message and says to try at a later time. When the station is busy I don’t want to wait in line in the store behind people that are paying for gas, snacks and lottery tickets.
