Downloaded this app a few months ago so I would be ready incase I needed to charge somewhere. Could not get it to work even after I initiated a charge session at a charger I was sitting in front of. Called the help line. The agent told me I had the wrong app installed. I needed “Shell Recharge” even though this one says fuel, charge, wash! Had to download it put in my CC info. What a pain. Why have EV chargers show up if they can’t be used. Hopefully it will work the next time I need it.

App is very buggy in that the connection between air miles and the app tends to break. Solution at the pump is to perpetually disconnect and reconnect Airmiles which is super frustrating. It has been happening for over 6 months now

First problem is that it doesn’t seem to accepted at all stations.  There have been a few in my location that don’t accept the app. 

The other problem I encounter is that about 15-20% it just doesn’t work.  I hit the Pay at the Pump option and get an error message and says to try at a later time.  When the station is busy I don’t want to wait in line in the store behind people that are paying for gas, snacks and lottery tickets.

The functionality of this app is great. Not fumbling with your cards at the freezing pump is awesome. Unfortunately about every month or so the app pulls error when processing payment. It must be reinstalled and all cards and info re linked. This has been going for the better part of a year. And you only find out when you go to fill up, and it doesn’t work.

It is great when it works, but disconnects me every couple of weeks and then won’t let me use my password and when I try to reset it says “technical issues”. So I then need to delete the app and reinstall. This is frustrating and has been going on for years. It seems to be something with Air Miles and CAA. I know this happens to others as well as we have discussed it. As I said, nice when it works but the unreliability makes it annoying to use.
