Due to its poetic structure, it has a listenership far beyond its intended audience. It lends itself nicely to relaxation and focus. These minutes can be saved to Health app for mindfulness credit. Depending on your available time, you can select between short, medium and long versions and the Text-to-Speech voice will read the dynamic forecast. ## Shipping Forecast Mindfulness Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/51/11/fd/5111fd03-b820-5a9e-43d3-ecf60a1f0258/815313d2-12a4-4898-aee9-a9ff5970b6bc_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2020-11-02_at_20.46.05.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/dd/9f/ab/dd9fab2a-759e-8613-947a-bce16f5b3cdc/ac200f4e-3479-4dfa-8802-0d08b79022fb_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2020-11-02_at_20.50.46.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/12/f8/10/12f810f7-1e0f-1768-3be3-38574720c550/40ea675a-6c61-4158-bad0-56689b3cac2f_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2020-11-02_at_20.46.23.png/1242x2688.png) ## Shipping Forecast Mindfulness Rating Breakdown in United Kingdom - 5 stars: 3 (30%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (10%) - 2 stars: 1 (10%) - 1 stars: 5 (50%) ## Shipping Forecast Mindfulness Reviews in United Kingdom ### *---- "Not as expected…" Not relaxing; not soothing; not the old Radio4 LW style I was expecting. If I had known, I’d have passed this one by. An App for the “deleted” pile. -- David.M1FCF, 2023-08-05 ### *---- "Computer voice" It uses a computerised American voice instead of the warm real voice used on radio. So completely and utterly useless. Worst app I’ve ever downloaded and I’ve downloaded some bad apps. -- relaxing classic, 2019-09-13 ### *---- "Nice idea, but...." Yes, I'm a "dyed-in-the-wool-BBC Radio-4-until-I-die" person. 😄 However: as a regular insomniac, one of reasons the shipping forecast is so soothing is entirely down to the intonation. A synthesised American text-to-speech voice misses the point by an margin almost incalculable! GET RID OF IT - please. Also, is this app actually the current forecast? I couldn't tell. Great idea but work needed on some fundamental things. -- MoogyP73, 2018-07-27 ### **--- "Don’t be fooled" This is a computerised american reading of the shipping forecast rather than the trade mark soothing voices of the actual forecast readers. It’s neither soothing nor accurate as the computerised voice can’t cope with some of the names. -- SminkyPinky76, 2018-06-17 ### ***** "Great" I like this app, very useful when I'm out and about, very simple to access -- Andypan43, 2018-01-20 ### ***-- "American Text to Speech" A lovely idea for us fans of the shipping forecast. Clever connection with the health app. It is something the Met Office or BBC should have done. However, I only seem to be able to get an American synthesised voice - "Fordies and Crowmardy". Part of the charm of the forecast is the calm voice that reads it, lost with this systhesised voice. -- kopiert, 2017-08-28 ### *---- "Er, what is relaxing about this?" A digitised voice is hardly reminiscent of the shipping forecast is it? Painful to listen to and not in the least bit relaxing. -- mcjlf1, 2017-08-02 ### *---- "Relaxing to listen to? Not a chance." Very disappointing. I listen to the shipping forecast all the time and I totally agree; it is poetic and very relaxing to listen to. However, not in this app. A digitised voice can never be considered relaxing, it grates and jarrs - in short it's horrible. Furthermore, the poetic element has been destroyed by adding text that isn't in the original. Part of the mystery of the shipping forecast is that those who are mariners know what the different elements are and those that don't, don't care. Why add something that isn't in the original and destroy everything we all love about the shipping forecast. -- G7LFC, 2017-07-23 [View all Shipping Forecast Mindfulness reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Shipping Forecast Mindfulness - [ActiveOrbit](https://apptail.io/app/activeorbit-rPH/united-kingdom) - [CamCOPS](https://apptail.io/app/camcops-VnQ/united-kingdom) - [MindSeeds: Powerful Self Help](https://apptail.io/app/mindseeds-powerful-self-help-OpXc/united-kingdom) - [Outlander](https://apptail.io/app/outlander-NPjd/united-kingdom) - [Monster's Journey (OSI)](https://apptail.io/app/monsters-journey-osi-JQfg/united-kingdom) - [myfitfinder: Local Fitness App](https://apptail.io/app/myfitfinder-local-fitness-app-HKJi/united-kingdom) - [NoWorriesApp](https://apptail.io/app/noworriesapp-hATm/united-kingdom) - [LWL Coaching](https://apptail.io/app/lwl-coaching-Lceo/united-kingdom) - [360 Health & Performance](https://apptail.io/app/360-health-performance-bHqq/united-kingdom) - [OUBC](https://apptail.io/app/oubc-CFTt/united-kingdom) ## Shipping Forecast Mindfulness Available In - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/united-kingdom) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/united-states) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/new-zealand) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/indonesia) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/australia) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/singapore) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/thailand) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/ireland) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/canada) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/shipping-forecast-mindfulness-Sced/spain) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
