## Shmoody Reviews in United States

### *---- "SCAM"
When starting the trial, the bot said “I bet I can change your mood in five days (referring to the trial) and if so, would you like to continue using Shmoody (referring to subscription)” I clicked the answer option box “we’ll see” that did NOT mean I wanted to subscribe. Immediately after the conversation with the bot, I went into my apple subscriptions and the “Shmoody” subscription did not appear, so I assumed since I said “we’ll see” and there was no subscription, it wouldn’t charge me. Come to find out my account was charged $70, it only allows you to manage your subscriptions and trial in the actual app depending on what plan you chose, which I didn’t choose a plan, so I can’t manage the subscription in the app due to the plan they chose for me and since it does not appear in my apple subscriptions, I can’t cancel it there either. So basically, they’re scamming people, because I never stated I wanted a subscription and I even saved screenshots of the conversations with the bot, and it clearly shows that I NEVER agreed to any such thing. SOOO I had to report it to apple, the app, and my bank. My card has been cancelled and my account is locked all because the makers of this app are scam artists.
-- GwenivereWhite, 2025-01-03

### ***** "Once it’s fully unlocked"
Now that I’ve completed all the introductory tasks, I love this app. It was hard to navigate before everything was fully unlocked but whatever. It’s nice to use all the features and they seem open to suggestions for further improvements and features.
-- elbowmacaroni, 2024-12-31

### ***** "I love Shmoody!"
Protect him at all costs
-- Badkitty2024, 2024-12-29

### *---- "Scam!"
Trial was not over… initially when I attempted to cancel this company offered to extend my trial for 30 days without charging me…. But then a couple days later they tried to charge me anyway… but now they won’t let me cancel. Because they’ve removed the option from my app. What a scam!!!
-- 305Toni, 2024-12-29

### ***** "Holy Moly"
The AI chat feature is unbelievable and life changing for me. I’ve been turning to it for every anxious worry I have and it gives such useful and comforting advice, support and encouragement. It is helping me see situations clearly. The more I use it, the more it changes my brain into thinking positively about myself and situations. It is priceless.
-- Heza333, 2024-12-28

### ***-- "Weird Update"
I got Shmoody several months ago and loved it so much I was recommending it to everyone I know.
All of the different tools right at your fingertips. It was so accessible and easy to use. Being able to try different tools at your own pace and as needed was so great. As someone with ADHD that kind of freedom was so helpful because it is easy to delete an app if it’s not quickly fulfilling, but Shmoody WAS.
After a recent update, all of the progress I made was entirely lost. Suddenly, I have to earn my way through levels? I have to wait 12 hours before doing the next step? Things that were openly available to me before are now locked? I paid for this…? Why am I now being restricted?
Horrible design now. It feels impossible to use. Especially when I feel like I need it most. I’m not sure what the goal was here but unfortunately you ruined the one thing that was actually helping me feel productive. Horrible update, will likely cancel my subscription and delete app if they don’t fix it.
-- Gracealena, 2024-12-28

### *---- "Misleading “in app purchases “"
“In app purchases
“ is misleading. It’s actually a free week trial and then you’re billed for the whole year.
-- KS-Guy, 2024-12-28

### *---- "Can’t unsubscribe"
Exasperating waste of time trying to cancel the trial subscription. Still haven’t managed it. Definitely not worth the hassle.
-- Khgsethvtijvdghb, 2024-12-27

### ***** "Amazing app!"
I've been really struggling lately with my mental health, and it's taken a really BAD toll on me. I just wanna say thank you for this app, it got me out of my sh addiction, and my suicidal thoughts. Amazing app!
-- beckah 😻🍃, 2024-12-27

### *---- "Cancel anytime"
I have unsuccessfully tried to cancel this app. It gives me an option for everything but cancel. I don’t want it, never had time to use it.
