Shortboxed is the most trusted marketplace and auction platform to buy and sell comic books. In addition to a thriving community with tens of thousands of buyers and sellers, there are also free tools and resources such as a price guide, portfolio manager, extensive data, and quality content to make buying and selling easy, safe, and fun. How does buying and selling work? For the marketplace, vetted dealers, comic shop owners, and collectors list their comic books for sale on Shortboxed while buyers browse and discover tens of thousands of comic books, both graded and ungraded. When someone buys a book, the seller receives an order confirmation with a pre-paid shipping label. Sellers get paid once the book is confirmed delivered. Our seller fee is a flat 10% - no hidden fees or shenanigans. Super simple! For event style auctions, approved sellers send in their books to Shortboxed before an auction is curated. Once the auction event is live, buyers can bid on items until the closing time. Once an auction event ends, winners will receive an invoice to pay before receiving their items. Shortboxed Features Sell raw or graded comic books - you can submit raw or graded comic books for sale on Shortboxed, with all raw books verified by Shortboxed before being delivered to the buyer. Buy and sell with confidence! Quick and easy submissions - take a couple pics, add a price and any additional info as needed, and that’s it. We take care of the rest, including exposure to tens of thousands of potential buyers across the U.S., Canada and U.K. We handle customer support - have an issue with an order? Our attentive team will take care of any questions or order issues. No more endless back and forth between buyers and sellers - we take care of everything so you don’t have to. Fair Market Value data - make informed buying decisions with our fair market value range, sales history, and indicators that show you if a book is a good deal. Portfolio Manager - manage your For Sale inventory and your Personal Collection all in one place with the Portfolio Manager. Organize your collection and track the value of your Portfolio for free. I have really enjoyed buying, I’d like to start selling , a friend of mine recommended short boxed , I like it better than eBay! -- ¥Baja¥, 2026-04-21 ### ***** "Where to buy your comics!!" This is where you go to buy your comics! They have great prices and great customer service. The prices are bloated like they are on eBay and they don’t have crazy fees. I have bought a lot of comics from this app and it has been awesome. The one time I had issue the took care of it and issued me a full refund. Highly recommend. -- Delawarelistner22, 2026-04-16 ### ***** "Great way to buy, sell and inventory comics" Clean mobile app. Fantastic tools. Links to CGC notes. Includes recent sales numbers, and census. Easy to list/remove inventory for sale. Smooth, secure shipping process. Lower fees than the typical online auction house(s). -- Shortbox_2026, 2026-03-19 ### *---- "Bait & Switch" After wasting months listing on this app i am now told that I am at selling limit. I Wish that I would have known this before I wasted so much time . I ONLY HAVE 88 LISTINGS and AT LIMIT. You guys suck for wasting my time. Wish that I could give you 0 STARS! -- JC13045, 2026-01-25 ### **--- "Meh" I was excited to try this app out as an avid collector/ reseller who spends way too much money on comics a month. First off the app is clunky and not very user friendly. I made my purchase as a test run hoping to have unlocked a new avenue to procure books, but the shipping fees are downright outrageous. I won an auction at 16$ and the total came to 25$ and change. That’s just insane for one book. There’s no real way (at least clearly) to bundle and it’s at least 10 day s&h time with the 4 or so days it takes them to verify payment. Is this 1999? Is there another way to do it? It’s too hard to tell since the site is not user friendly at all. TLDR: Not the option I was hoping for. Great idea , poor execution. I’d be open to trying it again if they made it look, feel and WORK like an app in 2026. This app has the market cornered, and should be a home run but sadly it doesn’t deliver. -- Bo*, 2026-01-20 ### ***** "An easy buying experience" I’ve been purchasing comics from online retailers for decades and I find Shortboxed offers the most consistently reliable service with the quality of their comics listings (there are tons of ways to search for comics and there’s loads of info on the book) and shipping standards. I have always received my orders packaged safely and secure. The app also offers some interviews and articles by collectors, offer tips for collecting, and also some comic news. I definitely recommend checking out Shortboxed, I’m sure you’ll find a comic you’ve been looking for and at a great price. -- Goobber1130, 2025-12-01 ### ***** "Comics" Great books Great service Easy transaction -- Gr8Comics, 2025-11-24 ### ***** "Fire & Ice" Great place to buy -- edgardoe, 2025-11-16 ### ***** "Best comics" Amazing place to buy your comics -- Mech140, 2025-11-07 [View all Shortboxed reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Shortboxed Discovered Keywords - comic book - live selling - shortboxed - league of comic geeks - comics geek - manzanos popshop ## Apps Similar to Shortboxed - [Heritage Auctions](https://apptail.io/app/heritage-auctions-amn/united-states) - [Hasbro Pulse App](https://apptail.io/app/hasbro-pulse-app-qQK/united-states) - [UNKNOWN COMICS](https://apptail.io/app/unknown-comics-EnHb/united-states) - [The 616 Comics](https://apptail.io/app/the-616-comics-fJHb/united-states) - [Trinity Comics](https://apptail.io/app/trinity-comics-gJHb/united-states) - [Red Hood Comics](https://apptail.io/app/red-hood-comics-iJHb/united-states) - [COMICTRADERS](https://apptail.io/app/comictraders-TUbk/united-states) - [Goldin - Shop Collectibles](https://apptail.io/app/goldin-shop-collectibles-DKZm/united-states) - [Collectrade](https://apptail.io/app/collectrade-KDvx/united-states) - [cukoo](https://apptail.io/app/cukoo-lJuy/united-states) ## Shortboxed Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/shortboxed-flu/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/shortboxed-flu/canada) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/shortboxed-flu/united-kingdom) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
