Automated section is a waste of time when all the useful triggers can’t be used without human input and Annoying notifications. They also keep removing abilties such as checking the battery levels of bluetooth devices like your earpods. So you cant have an automation tell you the battery level when you connect to them. It’s a such a shame, you can def add features to your phone with shortcuts but so much more could be done if they didnt lock everything down like your in solitary confinment. Just let us sign a security waver and give us the control we want.

This app comes in handy for things you don’t need. 😂 For example, I learnt that you can change the design of your app icons, or make Siri say anything you want when your phone is plugged in. It’s really cool and I would recommend it if you want to be able to do cool stuff like that.

I am someone who was a fairly regular contributor to the reddit shortcuts subreddits as well as giving tutorials, troubleshooting etc. but Apple has consistently kneecapped this application to the point where I barely use it. I’ve gone from being someone who was creating 100-300 action long shortcuts to someone who maybe uses it once a month because of the constant back and forth with implementation, breaking changes, changes of formatting, and now overall slowness and bugginess of the app, and now Siri integration is getting worse with each update. I still love the concept, really not a fan of the implementation

It annoys me whenever I open the shortcut with customised icon I made for every app, there is a notification banner that pops up confirming that I opened the said app. I HATE IT. 😩😩 And I can't see the numbers of unopened mail/ messages from my customised app icon.  I'm not going to use this app for now, unless they do something about that notification.
