Well worth it! There was some confusion with the app where the shoveler accidentally cancelled the job, but customer service responded immediately and cleared things up very effectively. Literally ANYONE cab sign up to shovel and you have no ability to look at past ratings to pick someone good or recommended. Paid $75 to have someone come out, pretend to shovel for an hour and leave. No recourse for me other than to give 1 star which doesn’t matter at all. You’re WAY better off asking friends to recommend someone. Shortly after I wrote this did hear from their customer service. Their suggestion was to cancel the job & repost it at a higher price. Which I did… still no takers. I found a local landscaper who was willing to do the job for less than I was offering on Shoveler & was here & had the job done in under an hour this (Tuesday) morning. My folks shared pictures of no work done. The person shoveling was part of a company. There is no way to pay less for job not done. The idea of the app is great the logistics not so much.
