## Show of Hands Description
Show of Hands is a smart and fun community polling platform for people who love to ask questions and learn how other people think! As one of the oldest apps on the App Store, now in our 14th year, we have a loyal community of opinionated users who debate with each other daily on just about any topic you can imagine. You can answer new questions daily and see instant, real-time, anonymous results from fellow brilliant minds around the country. This information is broken down by age, religion, income, political party, gender, and more! (You can just think of us as your national level town hall.)

We ask the tough questions so that you can anonymously debate real world issues, and we ask the lighter questions because sometimes the heavy stuff can get exhausting, ya know? Nothing is off limits, and our community will help you level up your brain!

Do YOU have questions!? Have you ever been having drinks with friends-- or even just around the water cooler with coworkers-- and gotten their opinions and comments on something? Do you ever feel like their vote is just plain wrong?! (There’s NO WAY that more people like chunky peanut butter, is there?!) Build an anonymous Show of Hands following and publish your own polls to test if your opinion is in the majority! Ask your own questions about politics, ethics, pop-culture, humor, sports, health, news-- or anything else your brain can think of!

We challenge you to question everything!

## Show of Hands Reviews in United States

### ****- "Polls"
I don’t understand what it takes to put on a pole and ask a question. It kept coming back with answers. I didn’t quite understand.
-- lorine.shannon, 2025-08-11

### *---- "Not allowing sign up"
They allow voting but no commenting without signing in, but every username is rejected & the system doesn’t suggest one. Keep in mind that comments on the polls are skewed by this bias: old accounts and whoever hasn’t yet been banned, allowing the platform to control the narrative
-- C_JK212, 2025-06-13

### ***** "Love it"
Been on this app for years. I love it and have made a lot of friends there.

Discussions run the gamut—users can create polos about whatever they want—though political discussions do tend to dominate. You can hit the ignore button for people who are jerks, and thereby create yourself a nice place to air your opinion.

If you join, look for the monthly introduction poll. It’s a great place to get followers and figure out who you want to follow.
-- Qikese, 2025-04-10

### *---- "Right Wing Skewed"
Results are not representative of the current state of America. I take all results with a grain of salt.
-- Desotodiva, 2025-03-07

### ***-- "Can be fun"
The app leans heavy right wing, so any political polls are skewed in that direction. Not all polls are political, but the app does skew on the political side. The message boards can be quite toxic, but nothing you haven’t seen on social media already. It’s all small user base on the boards, so you can find yourself arguing with the same people over and over again.
-- Otisfuzz, 2025-02-23

### ***** "The best app"
I whanter a app where I can talk to people and answer poles like the presadent and there are a lot of people like me out there that is why I like this app and the people are sooo kind thanks to the creators of this app to make me like to saye what I what this is the best thing in my life
-- Mr PRESADENT, 2025-02-01

### *---- "Good By Very Rightwing"
I have been with SOH since 2012, back than it was enjoyable to use, but over the years and to date SOH has been moving more to the right, so I am leaving SOH and deleting the app.
-- smcsteve, 2025-01-22

### ***-- "Heavy MAGA majority"
Polls are very skewed because of the massive republican/maga majority. Polls make more sense when you look at the stats. Overall a good app, just look at the stats for an actual look at what is really beleived.
-- H3R0EZ, 2025-01-17

### *---- "Right wing racism haven"
More toxic than any other social media site. The racism has gotten worse over the years. The app is infested with right wing MAGA supporters and they get extremely vile, racist and at times verbally violent. This behavior goes mainly unchecked. Only the worst violations get moderated and that is only when the owner happens to agree it was vile. He runs this site alone with little time for it. So, to some extent, it’s just understandable that moderation is so minimal.

In addition, the app is listed for 12+ ages. Yet, there is daily sexually inclined content, violent references, and excessive bullying. This app should be reclassified as Adult.
-- DLMango, 2024-12-26

### *---- "Hateful Community"
Absolutely vile, hateful community of mostly Trump worshipping conservatives, who sit around bashing on liberals, the LGBTQ, and immigrants all day long. The F-word and N-word are tossed around at times, and the developer allows it. Used to be an alright place to do some polls and have some debates, but it has gone WAY south.
-- TechGuyJay, 2024-11-12
