Currently, no tool helps users build a consistent, healthy, and stress-free daily reading habit. The Solution: An AI-powered news app that revamps news reading through two core pillars: 1. AI Curation: It automatically filters and condenses the global news into personalized, bite-sized, easy-to-read summaries, while allowing users to expand on topics of their interest through follow-up chats. 2. Habit-Building Gamification: It uses a Duolingo-style motivation system—themed around growing a mushroom garden—to incentivize daily engagement, turning reading into a fun, rewarding habit. ## Shroomie - Bite Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/80/b8/14/80b81463-0839-abfd-cba4-aa1a5cc7baf1/preview_page_1.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/d0/5e/25/d05e25c5-6fde-c2c4-c530-858bb868ac1e/preview_page_2.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c2/4b/19/c24b19ad-2860-01d3-36ed-4e5732067e74/preview_page_6_-_follow_up.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/ff/a0/09/ffa00961-4150-f337-fa95-bc0d3e087f00/preview_page_4_-_interaction.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/1d/4e/c6/1d4ec6d2-f07e-5619-a3df-5a881a8de394/preview_page_5.png/1242x2688.png) ## Shroomie - Bite Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 8 (89%) - 4 stars: 1 (11%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Shroomie - Bite Reviews in United States ### ****- "Finally, a news app that respects my time" I've tried every news app out there and always ended up either overwhelmed or bored. Shroomie actually broke that cycle for me. The format is the first thing that hooked me. Every story is distilled into tight bullet points — the kind of summary that gives you the actual idea, not just a headline or a wall of text. I can get through five stories in the time it used to take me to decide whether to open an article. That low-effort, high-signal ratio is rare, and I didn't realize how much I needed it until I had it. What kept me coming back is how it feels to use. Stories play out like Instagram stories — animated, full-screen, almost cinematic. I was reading about the Fed rate decision and it felt like watching a mini documentary. News hasn't felt that alive to me before. The streak feature snuck up on me. I didn't think I'd care about it, but I hit day 12 and realized I'd been keeping up with the news more consistently than I had in years. It's a small thing — a little counter, a satisfying animation — but it works. Habit formed, almost without noticing. The social layer is genuinely fun. Being able to drop an emoji reaction on a story and see how friends responded adds a layer I didn't know I was missing. When a story about AI came up and I saw a friend had reacted with the mind-blown emoji, it sparked a whole conversation. News went from something I consumed alone to something I actually talk about. If you've felt burnt out on news but still want to stay informed, Shroomie is the app I'd actually recommend. -- quemasbrilla, 2026-04-24 ### ***** "A news app that doesn’t feel like work!" I've always wanted to be "that person" who knows everything that's going on in the world. I've tried so many news apps, but could never stick to them – they have great content, but I just felt completely overwhelmed by the text walls and the cluttered feed. Shroomie is a breath of fresh air! The feed is minimal and only contains the stories I care about. Every story is lightweight, fun, and interactive. Plus, the streak mechanism and adorable mushrooms make reading feel like play! -- MarvelousLL, 2026-04-23 [View all Shroomie - Bite reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Shroomie - Bite Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Indonesia | News | #71 | ## Shroomie - Bite Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/shroomie-bite-sized-news-uGoz/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/shroomie-bite-sized-news-uGoz/united-kingdom) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/shroomie-bite-sized-news-uGoz/canada) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/shroomie-bite-sized-news-uGoz/australia) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/shroomie-bite-sized-news-uGoz/india) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/shroomie-bite-sized-news-uGoz/singapore) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/shroomie-bite-sized-news-uGoz/brazil) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
