## ShutterSnitch Description
ShutterSnitch is subscription based. With a subscription you get access to all features and updates. The first week is *free* so you can verify that things work with your specific camera or wi-fi card.

Wirelessly transfer images to your iOS device from an Eye-Fi, Transcend Wi-Fi, Toshiba FlashAir, PQI Air, or ez Share card, GoPro HERO, Fujifilm cameras with built-in Wi-Fi, PTP/IP enabled device (such as the Nikon WU / D750 / Z7 or Canon EOS 5D Mark IV / 6D / 70D / M3 / EOS R) or a Canon, Nikon or other filetransmitter that supports uploading to an FTP server over your wireless network.
When a JPEG arrives, ShutterSnitch analyzes shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focal length, and light level and warns you if anything differs from the rules you've set up. 

You now have a large preview screen that you can browse, pinch, zoom, and evaluate seconds after snapping your picture.

In a studio environment it's now easy to share shoots with crew and models. More fun and less juggling cards, adapters, and cables!

Please note: A large part of the magic of the wireless delivery lies in the setup of the devices outside of the ShutterSnitch app. For older FTP systems, be prepared to spend more than just a couple of minutes on this initial setup.

• Crop, straighten, and adjust colors in the sRGB color space (temperature & tint, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity, vibrance, and saturation). All edits are non-destructive, so you can always fine-tune or revert to the original photo.
• Advanced metadata editing with presets and Code Replace.
• Slideshow function with Ken Burns effect.
• Arrange your shoots in albums.
• Lock private albums.
• Resize and/or watermark photos before sharing them via e-mail, Dropbox, Flickr, FTP, WebDAV, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, SmugMug, or Zenfolio.
• Large scale histograms (RGB,R,G,B).
• Visible and/or audible warnings.
• Map integration. Geo-tag JPEG photos automatically or manually.
• Highlight warnings.
• Add a caption and byline to the photos by tapping and holding the currently displayed full image.
• Custom username, password, and port for the built-in FTP and WebDAV servers.
• Receive files directly from one or more Eye-Fi cards.
• Receive photos from your GoPro HERO, Transcend Wi-Fi, Toshiba FlashAir, PQI Air, or ez Share card/adapter as you shoot them or import files from the card manually. *Note for GoPro cameras in burst or time-laps mode*: Photos can only be retrieved once the camera exits the mode.
• Supports receiving and importing photos via PTP/IP. For example from Nikon WU transmitters, D750 / D850 / Z7 / Z9 and Canon EOS 5D Mark IV / 6D / 70D / M3 / EOS R.
• Supports receiving photos from Panasonic cameras that work with their LUMIX LINK app such as the GH3 and GH4. (Not the 'Image App' or 'LUMIX Sync' apps, so DMC-G7 and DC-G9M2 are not supported.)
• Supports Sony α1, α7 IV & V, α7R IV, and NEX cameras.
• Supports Fujifilm cameras with built-in Wi-Fi such as X100T, X-M1, GFX100, and X-T2.
• Supports Canon PowerShot G16 and other Canon cameras that work with their CameraWindow app.
• AirDrop export.
• Bonjour support for easy discovery in your Bonjour enabled applications.

ShutterSnitch can also be used as a regular image browser if you simply transfer the pictures from your computer through an FTP client.

Subscription payments ($2.99 monthly or $29.99 yearly) are charged through your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase and are auto-renewed. The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Renewal can be turned off 24-hours before the end of the current period in your Account Settings in the App Store. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

Das war wahrscheinliche eine der besten Apps für Canon Fotografen - WAR 
Ich würde es ja sogar abonnieren, für 2,99 im Monat. 
Aber es geht nicht mehr. 
Ich habe ein neues iPad Pro bekommen und unter diesem kann ich keine Verbindung zu den Kameras mehr herstellen. 
Das Forum ergeht sich in viel Posts ohne Hilfe 
Auf der Website keine Möglichkeit mit den Entwicklern in Kontakt zu treten - die Anleitungen meist noch zur alten Version. 
Sehr Schade - die App war der Hammer

My old iPad and iOS is to old for the newest Version.  I got shuttersnitch 5.5.1 on the iPad, but this version ask around each week or month for eathernet Connection to Check the Abo Status. Please can i get a old Version ipa Datei to install Version before Abo. Version 4.2.13 would be nice. I found ipa Version 3.3.1 on my pc but this Version do not sync with my flashair wifi sd Card from toshiba. Would be nice if you can help me. Thanks

### ***** "Great piece of Software for captioning images on the go"
As a sports photographer I was searching for a full iPad-Workflow replacing the laptop. Lightroom mobile does it‘s thing but lacks the ability to add/update most of the IPTC-Data (except of headline, caption and keywords).
This is where ShutterSnitch comes into play. It took me a bit understand how it works and I needed to slightly adjust my workflow accordingly.
One thing I was really missing was added in the latest update: automatic code-replacement without the need to press the button. I asked for this feature a few days ago and now it‘s there.
Now I can add the BIB-Number (or any other text) into an IPTC-Field LR offers, export the image to ShutterSnitch , apply an action that customizes all the metadata (translates the BIB into name, team, etc) ands the image to an FTP-Server in one go.

Also the Code-Replacements are synchronized via iCloud so you can switch between devices easily. And all the files you may have created for a different program are fully compatible

Worth every penny.

Ich fotografiere mit einer Nikon und diese App ist die einzige Möglichkeit vernünftig zu tethern. Auch wenn die Verbindung von der Kamera zum iPad ab und zu abbricht, ist es trotzdem noch eine gute Sache.

Das iPad steht beim fotografieren neben mir und ich habe innerhalb von Sekunden eine super gute Vorschau und kann dem Kunden Feedback geben.

Eigentlich eine gute app, allerdings wahrscheinlich mit Funktionen ziemlich überladen. Neuerdings verschwinden die gesetzten Etiketten nach dem Restart des Programms. Die Funktion zur Fotobearbeitung ist meines Erachtens in dieser schlechten Form überflüssig, da ich ja aus Lightroom oder andern apps direkt in Shuttersnitch im richtigen Ordner speichern kann. Sehr gut klappt das Senden aus der Kamera in den jeweiligen Datumsordner von Shuttersnitch via FTP. Die voreingestellte Caption wird allerdings nicht immer als IPTC zum Foto hinzugefügt. Manchmal ist es auch eine alte oder vorherige Caption aus der Liste. Vielleicht wären etwas weniger Funktionen für das Funktionieren besser gewesen.

Software darf ruhig Geld kosten - aber eine Minisoftware in ein Abo-Modell zu packen ist einfach nur daneben. Und das noch dazu bei einer Software, bei der DIE wichtigste Konfigurationsmöglichkeit fehlt: Autoimport ja/nein. Ich bin Landschafts-und Reisefotograf, und mache HUNDERTE Bilder. Und nur manchmal will ich ein einzelnes Bild direkt vor Ort verifizieren - und möchte dann nicht stundenlang warten, das der nicht-abbrechbare, nicht-konfigurierbare Autoimport die letzten 30 Bilder geladen hat. Das in Kombination mit dem Abomodell ist schon skurril schlecht.

Vor einigen Jahren habe ich das Programm gekauft. Nun, seit dem Abo, konnte ich die Neuerungen nicht benutzen, was auch kein Problem war. Mir reichte die Version, die ich bis dato genutzt habe. Doch jetzt wurde das Programm einfach gesperrt und ich werde gezwungen ein Abo abzuschließen. Immerhin habe ich für das Programm bezahlt. 
Für mich ist es abzocke.

Ich hatte die App vor ein paar Jahren für den Vollpreis gekauft und war echt zufrieden damit.
Seit dem Abomodell kann ich die App nicht mehr voll nutzen. Das geht gar nicht. Kann auch nicht ein Auto verkaufen und dann später plötzlich die Lenkung nur per Abo freischalten. 
Echt schade. Nicht mehr zu empfehlen!

Would it please be possible to implement a proper support of iPad keyboards. The iPadOS keyboard controls block for example the buttons for copy/pasting in the caption field and since iPadOS 15 graphic elements jump around when a keyboard is connect. Apart from that an overall great app - thanks.

Frechheit, ein Paradebeispiel von Enteignung...
Apple sollte verbieten, dass im Nachhinein Apps ins Abo-Model überführt werden. Zumindest sollte es möglich sein, dann auf die letzte Nicht-Abo-Version zurückzugehen.
Dies wird der Grund sein, dass ich in Zukunft wohl keine Software mehr aus dem Apple-AppStore kaufen werde bzw. anschliessend auch keinerlei Apple-Hardware.

I use ShutterSnitch in connection with my Canon Cameras. Sending files with the Canon WFT or the build in wifi or even with an Ethernet Cable. Press the set button and transfer the raw to ShutterSnitch. In ShutterSnitch you can do a lot of things I am missing in most Programms. Not to mention the great great support. Highly recommend a joy to use.
