No way to tell when rides are available without in a specific request (and if not available, it forgets all the info you already put in), notifications and the map showing car location can be misleading, doesn’t choose the most efficient routes with multiple riders, there’s no way to change your home address after putting it in the first time, I could go on. Avoid
Bad experience multiple times, support is even worse.
This service is convenient if you don't have anywhere important to be after work. However, if you do have something come up and try to contact the support team to reschedule your ride, it's hard getting ahold of someone. I've experienced being on hold from 1 min to over 30 min. It's a hit or miss with the experience. It definitely makes me prefer driving my own car.
5 minute notification is generally 6-10 min when you open the app to look at the car. Currently says 2 min to pick up but the car isn’t even close to my location.
For the past week during evening rides, the app never updates me on who will pick me up. I had to call support to know who is picking me up and when. When asked why this happens they tell me to reinstall the app lol. And what do you know it is still broken after reinstallation.
It functions correctly. It would be great if there were a way to schedule recurring rides as well as a way to save scheduled rides to iCal or Google Calendar. That would make this a 5-star app for me.
I can’t use it if I can’t sign in. If I hade to be on the corporate network to get it to work and I need to be at corporate to get it to work it’s useless. I’d rather just use Uber and save myself the headache.
