Does what it’s supposed to
Does what it’s supposed to do without selling your information. Also doesn’t bombard you with unrelated junk. Simple but still with the useful features that have become common place in modern messaging apps.
So unnecessary wants.
This is beyond stupid that you want us to have it on our phone as a condition, I solely will use it on my iPad for a discuss group. I could add phone number as a reference, but literal unnecessarily for you to demand that

Unlike FB-Meta, IM(!?), and Google Chat…
…I’m not the product (my personal data) being aggregated and sold. Sure, I get the “please donate” pop-ups. And I do occasionally give a few CAD. Still, for secure communication among GOOD ACTORS, it’s a great program.

If you respect your own privacy you should be using this already. Fully encrypted. Fully transparent. This is the one.
