Silent Depth Submarine Sim

Simple but addictive,I spend hours relaxing just roaming the seas, and a great experience when I come upon cargo shipping traffic and engage stealthily before the Destroyers find my presence, and have a go at them too if I’m still surviving. Great Game.

It is a great game but would be even better with like a Mediterranean area and Atlantic areas. also more interior for the sub like the engines . This game is a must have if you have a interest in ww2

First the good news, great graphics, atmospheric and good game play but the game gets confused as to where things are! For instance attacking a formation of 3 merchant ships, sank two one left stopped so use the map to steer to it and finish it off. No problem with navigation but can’t see the ship, look BEHIND and there it is! Range is going down but I am going ahead! Also although map shows ship ahead I have to use stern tubes to hit it! Have also experienced having a cruiser viewed through periscope showing range increasing so why is it suddenly getting bigger? Bang! Went to website but no way to contact devs or get to forum.

Just brought this game and just crashes every time!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!

Its a great game but there should be some sense of progress? Each patrol is basically a standalone event and as a result you never really care. Some historical progression through the war and some progress/identity for the crew etc would make this a nock out game

This is exactly the game I was looking for where strategy is the key to success, but there does not appear to be any High Score feature to record your successes. Most annoying though is a bug which means the attacking ships are not where shown on the map and when you dare to 'up periscope' to look, the distances shown are wrong. Invariably you end up getting hit by a destroyer which suddenly appears on top of you while the display shows it to be still 1.5km away. A great shame as this ruins a great game.

If you remember the Silent Service PC games from the 90’s then this will feel familiar.

Loads and works just fine on the iphone SE. Controls a bit small for the fat-fingered. Unfortunately, loads to a black screen an app shutdown on my ipad mini (an ipad mini 2).

This is fantastic it’s like silent service but better can you make a German first wolf war British sub or German in ww1 great game

On Ipad there are numerous issues that unfortunately make the game a bit of a trial at times. For example, the control above the engine speed control is often hit when moving the sight so changing the power setting inadvertently. It is possible to end up 'stuck' with no battery charge and 4 flooded engines so only way out is to restart the game. The one third and two third power settings are way too slow. Needs more work. IMHO PS What the hell is 'sm' on the target range display and if it's 'miles' then it's way out on the visibility estimates in yards when a target is detected. PPS What are there no friendly/allied ships on these seas? PPS The torpedo track on the map display is intermittent. PPPS The view in the surface sight is sometimes blocked by the conning tower. PPPPS There are sometimes some VERY odd ships laying on their sides and stationary but they cannot the targeted with either torpedos or the surface gun. PPPPPS No sound and an occasional black screen.
