## Simple Calendar Description
SimpleCal is the easiest calendar app on the App Store.
Sync your schedule across platforms and devices through iCloud or Google calendar.

- Sync
All the events on your current calendar are transferable from another calendars via iCloud or Google calendar.
(The connection uses the calendar account registered in the Settings app)

- Widget
Your recent events can be displayed on a widget to grasp what to do quickly.

- Weather
The weather forecast for the specified area is displayed on the calendar(up to one week ahead)

- Reminders
You won't miss your important events via SimpleCal's reminder.
The reminders can be repeated daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.

- Customizable interface
Each event and calendar can have different colors, which makes you easily recognize your schedule.
The color theme is also customizable. You can find your favorite theme for sure.

- Simple design
You can add or edit an event only with a few steps.
Do you have some routine in your life? Then, try SimpleCal! You can create a new event just by dragging a past event.

- Dark Mode
Supports dark mode.

- Data Backup
Saves event data to an external server such as iCloud Calendar or Google Calendar.
(The app does not have its own calendar and does not save to the device's local area.)
In the unlikely event that your iPhone is damaged, you can simply log in to your original calendar account to load your previous event data.

I love this app and have used it for years. About 10 times better than Apple’s calendar.
However, I am frustrated over all this “read-only” events stuff. I never loaded any “read-only” events on my calendar (in fact, I don’t even know how). The calendar is doing so on its own, and I cannot delete them because they are uneditable!?!?! Why I don’t know. Help!!!

I love love love this app. I recommend to anyone I know. You can add events very fast and it saves the events and times for future events that are the same. You can also label each color to its own category which is so helpful when trying to separate appointments, activities, or todo lists. Download this and you will not regret it!

Love this calendar, closest I can find to the Samsung/android default for my new apple BUT the day tracking won’t update. It is stuck on November 30th so my widget won’t update with my accurate daily events and when I enter the app I have to scroll through the months. Didn’t used to do this so it’s very disappointing.

Ok so the Developer wants you to pay for Ad Removal.  If you accidentally delete the App, you have to pay for Ad Removal, once again.  Apple’s new update is fantastic.  No more bullet points.  The Apple Calendar has colors as well.  You can make as many ‘calendars’ w/different colors, and they all show up on one initial Calendar.  Give it a try.  If you run into a problem, Apple support is always helpful.  If you run into a problem w/Simple, the Developer does not help.

This is one of my favorite apps I’ve ever had. I’ve been using it for a couple years and it’s still consistently helpful. The basic calendar that comes with iPhones is probably one of my least favorite apps. SimpleCal lets me see all my events for a month, organize them into different groups, select a variety of colors for events, customization of the display, and it does everything that a calendar should do. You can also link it to your regular iPhone calendar so the information you need is all in one place. I also like that it has an input history where it remembers the events I schedule frequently and allows me to make the same event with the same time and preferences. It’s so much easier to stay organized with this app, I have never written a review for an app before but I seriously just love this calendar 😭

10/2024 update this app has been freezing every time I use it or put in an appointment in it freezes and I have to completely close the app and reopen to change anything in the calendar it is quite frustrating, I’m very close to deleting this app I have been using this calendar for several years now and I love it, I love that I can put in different colors for different things like birthdays in one color and events in another color, I love that you can set up the Reminders and when you want to receive them either days before or hours before or minutes before. I could never get used to the calendar on my iPhone so thankful for this app!

This app is still freezing every time I add something, sadly I will have to find another one

The calendar can show up to 7 lines per day, after that a "+1" symbol will show theres more events than displayed, so not a perfect day-planner but amazing for keeping up with my assignments & birthdays & appointments.
