Simple Call Blocker is a utility that lets you block unwanted calls to your iPhone.

It allows you to block individual numbers, or ranges of numbers.

You may also add individual numbers or ranges of numbers to the Allow List, so that they will not be blocked by this app, even if they are in the Block List. Optionally, you may also allow all of your phone's contacts.

## Does the app contain a list of known phone spammers to block?

No. Simple Call Blocker does not provide or maintain a known spammers blacklist. There are several other iOS call blockers that do, which you can use for free, if that feature is important to you. You may use Simple Call Blocker in conjunction with one of those other apps to blacklist additional numbers.

## Why would I use this app?

Three reasons:

1. Simple Call Blocker allows you to block a range of phone numbers, to help prevent “neighbor spam”, for free. Other apps may let you blacklist individual phone numbers, but require an in-app purchase or paid subscription to block ranges of numbers.

2. Simple Call Blocker does not collect your personal information. You do not need to provide it access to your contacts unless you wish to enable the “allow all contacts” option. In contrast, some call blockers require a subscription or even a login to their web service in order to work.

3. Simple Call Blocker is designed to be very simple and reliable. In contrast, with many call blockers, it is hard to determine how many numbers are in the blacklist, whether or not the “Call Directory app extension” is loaded, and so on.

## Privacy Policy

Simple Call Blocker does not collect any of your information, period. No data within the app or accessed by the app is ever transmitted to the developer.

Good, but needs more range

Pretty good app. Does what it says and is simple; only wish you could block more calls/broaden your range.

Does not work at all

I have added 23 calls to my block list and not one time has it blocked any. I will uninstall this now.

Simple caller

App stopped working. Cannot block a group of numbers or even one. No matter what I do. Wrote few times but no one answers or calls or fixes problem…Is ANYONE there who can guide me as to what to do in order to correct this problem.. Is anyone even reading these comments ?

Great app

This is a great app. Has saved me from countless spam calls. Even better it’s free

Good layer on top of other spam call apps

I’ve officially stopped receiving spam calls with the help of this app. I was able to block an entire area code by using the block range feature (Most of the spam calls I was receiving came from a city I no longer live in). I was also able to whitelist all my contacts as to not block any of those numbers.

Lacks the ability to block area codes.

This works slightly better than the default iPhone blocking feature. However, it is not worth it without the ability to block area codes. Currently this app requires 1,000 numbers to block 1 area code and my old phone had about 100 area codes blocked. I do not want to enter 100,000 numbers.

Is it open sourced?

That’d be cool if it were I have ideas that I could submit in a pull request that would at least give the program another branch people could install if not accepted into the main program. And make it multi oak if not already.

Didn’t block numbers. Increased spam calls

First of all, once I got this installed, calls started coming in, at least 30 times a day. I thought it was just coincidence. Once I discovered a few numbers that I blocked went through, I decided to uninstall the app and the calls went down significantly.

Can not add range

Even I copy and paste the numbers from recent calls, the app still prompts invalid phone numbers.
