I should be able to open links in an external browser. And there are ads, on an application that is so simple it should be provided by the OS
Easiest app to add feeds to by far and puts them in alphabetical order. But you can't edit names once they are in. Can't delete read items. Somewhat confusing menu. Now appears abandoned.
It would be great if every release didn't have some random failure different from the last one. Current version sometimes fails to see the Internet so it can't update any feeds. It will however load pages so clearly it does know the Internet is there. Pretty random, but load fail makes it useless until it resets itself at an unknown point because you can't quit apps for real on iOS. Previous version would update constantly while browsing to the point of irritation. It also has issues where stories in a feed will show as read when they are new, trying to see a summary will fail because it immediately fades back to the last web page viewed and you have to keep tapping until it takes, and if you click through a link on a page there is no back button. Needs a lot of work but doesn't seem to get a lot of development attention.
For a quick listing of RSS updates without needing a teackinf account it's a useful app and links nicely to content for quick read. Would be helpful if for each RSS feed if you could pick if you wanted the update to be auto (part of the sweep when you start the app) or manual. (some feeds are ones I use all the time, others I don't want to bother with except ocassionally)
I loved the simplicity at first, so I added all my feeds, but when I started reading I realized theres no way to tell which ones you read after a day or two, unless you remember the headlines, and I like to keep track of ad listing so this makes it pretty much unusable for me...
