## Simple Solar Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Great customer service"
Great app taking advantage of cheap electricity with intelligent go integration. Initial problems on set up were sorted immediately with the help of customer service who responded quickly to my queries and picked up conflicts in my system. Think it up will be worth the subscription many times over.
-- HJS1111, 2026-04-12

### ***** "Effortless automation and money saving"
The app is simple to use and works brilliantly with my Octopus/Sunsynk/Ohme setup. I’m saving money each month more than covering the pro subscription. Estimating £65 in February alone from grid battery charging shenanigans.
-- twocups, 2026-04-06

### ***** "Brilliant app"
I’m so pleased to have discovered this app. It’s straightforward and brilliant. So much easier to use than the Sunsynk one. The intelligent octopus go integration is brilliant too. We can now automatically charge our battery when the car gets additional charging sessions and stop it draining. Highly recommend.
-- Camelenga, 2026-03-11

### ***** "Fantastic"
Very good App I have been waiting for something like this for a long time
-- Justontime123456, 2026-03-08

### ****- "Show Generator"
Great App but I have a micro generator that imports into my Sunsynk and shows generation in the app. Is there a way to see it in the simple Solar app?
-- cgrexy, 2026-03-04

### *---- "Doesn’t remember settings"
Each time I use this app unfortunately I lose more money than I save because it overwrites your settings without taking a backup first so if you trigger a discharge when you stop it you’re not back on what you were on before.

I paid for ad free but now I’ve uninstalled.
-- Alfredwodenn, 2026-02-14

### ***** "Stress free EV charging"
The simple solar app takes the worry out of charging the Sunsynk batteries when on octopus intelligent go. The only thing it doesn’t pick up on is when the car finishes charging but octopus still have a charging slot ongoing. I believe this is more likely an octopus energy issue rather than the app. 10 out of 10, best money spent this year.
-- JJFraser, 2026-02-01

### ***** "A nice simplified interface"
The visuals used and the layout allow me to clearly see how the system is doing. It doesn’t have the system level setting, but you don’t need to, that is what the official Connect App is for.

Very simple to see and set the daily schedule.

Not sure I got any adverts, but I have paid to remove them, more as a thank you for saving my eyesight!

Update: I just found the homepage widget!! Yes!!! 6 stars!

Not sure I could personally justify the pro edition month / annual price, but being able to set a different schedule on Sundays or whenever British Gas announced a savings event, would have been useful, if I had done, but that isn’t really a strong enough reason to score it any less.
-- Elduddz, 2026-01-26

### ***** "Simple & Smart"
Great app, easy to use very useful & very user friendly
-- GH1FKG, 2025-11-19

### ****- "Brilliant, especially the timer function."
A nice clean and simple version of the Sunsynk app, none of the fluff you don’t need. A godsend for the timer function, which is where most people seem to struggle with Sunsynk app.

Love the charge now function, very helpful.

Everything you need at a glance. Pretty sure it updates quicker too.

Definitely worth a download if you run a Sunsynk inverter.
