## Simple Text Reader (TTSReader) Description
Reads out loud written content, plain text, files and web pages. For people who like to listen. Read eyes and hands free. iOS natural sounding voices. Super easy to use.

To start simply tap the 'Play' button. That's it.

Main features:
1) Editable text
2) Import web pages
3) Shows images
4) Multiple languages and voices
5) Set reading speed
6) Tap anywhere to set reading location
7) Caches & bookmarks reading location in the most recent 5 documents, so you can continue listening where previously stopped, for up to 5 files.
8) Accepts shared text from any other app.
9) Accepts shared web page urls from your browser.
10) Internal browser to search and play web pages.
11) Import text files from device storage.
12) Highlights and follows the sentence currently being read, so you can follow easily along.

### **--- "Loved the older version"
This newest version hasn’t worked out well for me. I haven’t been able to use this app in months on 3 different devices. I absolutely loved the older version and I really enjoy the PC version (web based).

I typically end up using the web interface on my phone and tablet because this is so unreliable.

The web page and the browser extension supports copy and paste, but the iOS function does not work on this app. That makes this app useless.

It used to work well once I could get it to read a document. Though it could have used a return to top of document feature as I’m using it to listen to books. But now all of a sudden, it’s not giving me any audio. I’ve tried restarting my phone, new documents, updating the app, nothing works. So I’m going to have to find a different one.

I wish i could have kept it as it is I cant understand the accent of the default reader, but i will try again later as this app evolves .  The speed controls is jarring as well. But i love that this is a app that is intuitive and not subscription based

It worked when I first downloaded it but now it’s stuck on a thick Saudi accent, no matter how many times I change it to an American accent, restart the app, or delete and reinstall it entirely. I don’t know what happened but now the app is completely unusable to me.

I have a lot of homework that I need to read for, but I’m always getting distracted by my phone so having the app on my phone and my homework on my I pad and I’m without distractions. It really helps me do my work. I can just look up what I need to read, copy it, then past it into the app and I’ve got my work don’t like that. The is the best app and I’m glad I got it. I gotta say, I was skeptical at first but it really helped
