Simple Transfer does not use or transfer your files to any external server. It provides a completely private website to be accessed by only computers that are directly connected to your local WiFi network. Your photos and videos cannot be accessed from the Internet.

* Simple Transfer offers Trial mode where you can download 10 items without any limitations. After trial mode expires, it switches to Free mode, where you can only transfer the oldest 50 items of each album. Photo Cleaner, Export to JPG, MOV/MP4 (H.264) are also not available in the free mode. To remove these limitations please consider upgrading to Premium version inside the app.

So this app has a neat layout, it's very easy to navigate and to begin any transfer.

You cannot download an app directly to your computer, which would have been neat, but the website is easy to use.

However while it definitely works sometimes, certain browsers doesn't work.
Atleast Firefox doesn't work.
When using that one, you will probably get a message saying "transfer failed", you can get it before the download even starts.
If not, then it probably will fail when the download is done.

And downloading takes ages.
A simple short video took one and a half hour for me.
And it really sucks to wait for that long, only for the transfer to fail anyway.

I don't know about other browsers, but Internet Explore worked completely fine.

Just know that it may not be as easy the app is advertised as!
