## Simple Transfer Reviews in United States

### *---- "Hook everyone, adds mandatory fee."
Predatory behavior. Switched to local send.
-- Facchinibr, 2026-08-14

### *---- "Junk"
Only the 50 oldest photos are able to be downloaded? What a useless app.
-- JacksonChang2, 2026-08-08

### *---- "Not happy"
Your app should be able to detect or prompt me to allow greater access to my photos without spending a lot of time finding the settings option to make the change. I am not happy that you are now charging much more than your competitors and that you’re going to an annual rate. I am actively looking to drop you before the end of year.
-- RichinSacramento, 2026-08-08

### *---- "Used to be great"
Can’t do anything now without fees
-- Y2khardtop, 2026-08-08

### *---- "New update removed my purchase !!!"
I was able to use it without limit. Now it requires me to pay overpriced annual fee or $70 for lifetime fee ! Too expensive for this easy job ! It only worth $10. I removed the app. I will never use it !!
-- UltraGM, 2026-08-05

### *---- "Now unusable, Previously the BEST."
I’ve loved using this app, and have recommended it to dozens of people, but unfortunately it seems that recent updates have lost previous purchases, and the now-nearly-useless desktop program is lagging/crashing.

This will be dearly missed. I would consider repurchasing - that’s how much I liked it - but with not knowing how long it will last for, and with literally no direct contact information or social media channels etc, except a simple contact us form on their page, I am reticent to risk it.

As their website says, they’ve been on the App Store for many years, and this was a truly solid and dependable app, but unfortunately it seems to have changed.

I hope the devs can get it back to how stable it used to be - and with previous purchases not disappearing. But for now, $30/$50/$70 (it’s hard to tell, as their website has ZERO pricing information) is too much to risk a now seemingly declining App. It will be missed. So Long, and Thanks for All the Files.
-- Thebr, 2026-07-29

### *---- "Unreliable"
I have been using software for years .
Within the last two months it’s been unreliable.
Sometimes it works something
it does not
Let’s you select pictures but will not let you download.
When I reinstalled app it want me to pay for new subscription.
-- Karl in Arkansas, 2026-07-28

### *---- "$$$"
Stopped working, demanded $30/year.
-- FlogMT, 2026-07-20

### *---- "Poor description"
Doesn’t tell you it’s limited to 50 oldest pics unless you pay $19.99/yr
-- Craig142, 2026-06-27

### ***** "Best Iphone to Windows app"
This is the only app that is able to easily transfer my iphone pictures and videos to my windows laptop. Windows apps glitch out. Nothing has worked like this.
-- Andrew_GGG, 2026-05-15

### *---- "So slow."
Tried to move a 45 min video off my phone to a PC. It just kind of transferred a few hundred kilobytes and sat there telling me it would take 3 hours. I can’t leave my phone open for three hours. Sorry.
-- [pjp89gofgiu, 2026-04-23

### ***** "Life Saver"
Great software, saved me time and annoying hassles of moving images and videos from my phone to PC.
-- D3-TechSavvy, 2026-04-19

### *---- "Data transfer."
Ddoesn’t work
-- Doug pw2000, 2026-03-31

### *---- "Free App Misleading"
App documentation indicated that I had 50 free items to download . I could not download more than 10 before repeatedly getting a screen to sign up for premium. This app will be deleted for good!
-- Markie in MI, 2026-03-16

### ***-- "iPhone update week of 3/10/26 broke WIFI"
I have been using this for over two years quite happily, and it suddenly broke with an update. now it is totally useless to me.
-- Sea Island Cotton, 2026-03-09

### *---- "iphone 17 personal hotspot fails!!"
Doesn’t work with iphone 17 says enable wifi- but iphone says it must be disabled to work with hotspot
-- triumphdriver, 2026-02-27

### ***** "Excellent App"
Update February 2026.
After experiencing some issues with this app last year I updated this review to make note of the issues. The creator contacted me after seeing the updated review. They informed me of working to provide corrections to the issues. As of the newest update in 2026 I can now say this app is once again one of the best apps of its kind. It works extremely well, quick, and without issues.
The creator even emailed me when the new update was available. I really appreciated that.
This is a very good app.

As a semi professional photographer

having many years of image management experience I can honestly say this is one of if not the best apps available.
The premium version is by far worth the price.
Thank you developers for a great product. I hope it never goes away.

Update 08/2025
It appears this app is no longer being supported. For the 12 months the app has been crashing after downloading 30-40 images. This requires closing the desktop version, closing and restarting the app, reconnecting and the resuming where you lest off. If you a couple hundred images you might need to go through this 5 or 6 times which is unexceptionable.
I have email support and never get a response.
Time to look elsewhere.
-- Bradmangas, 2026-02-26

### **--- "It WAS perfect"
Until the recent update this app was perfect. Now it takes several clicks to get any picture to be selected and I find I have to reload often. It works but it is so much more frustrating than the smooth process it used to be
-- CocoaBean2002, 2026-02-13

### *---- "New version is garbage."
The new version is absolute trash. Goodbye. I have to unzip each download now automatically naming it simple transfer. Trash.
-- Free Citizen 513, 2026-01-25

### *---- "Terrible"
No status indicator. Getting choked when trying to move 70 files. Free test worked great. Bait and switch? How do I get my money back?
