Reliable and compact

Really well designed, and very reliable and simple. Works on every OS and device. It doesn’t copy formatting when you copy and paste text, which some might regard as a limitation, but I like how unnecessary formatting is stripped out, so you can copy into another location without adjustments. The one text format it does recognise is the http hyperlink, which of course is very useful. The search function works great. It’s freeware at the moment. I note that they have started a subscription version. I couldn’t afford their suggested rates, but would consider donating to support them, like Wikipedia or Libreoffice etc, if that was an option.

No option to add pictures or screenshots

Love this note app but sometimes I take screenshots which I need to add to some notes would be nice if a update gave us the ability to add pictures or screenshots

Great when it syncs

And not when it doesn’t… iOS seems to he the odd one out with the Mac app, Windows app and the browser version all keeping sync with each other. Happened twice in a week where the iOS app stopped syncing leaving me with two versions of my note collection. I cannot rely on this app. Oh and a simple bold/italic button wouldn't go amiss either.

Copy and Paste

I wanted to copy stuff from my Apple Notes, but it does not “paste”

What could go wrong?

Free? Have to sign up? Your data on their servers? No encryption? Riiiiight ..

Not reliable

I used this tool for many years and it used to be robust and reliable. Lately I had too many problems with it: syncing issues, notes disappearing after syncing, or deleted notes re-appearing in my inbox. I tried asking for help from technical support but I received no answer. I can’t count on it anymore since I lost some really important notes a few times now due to bugs and syncing issues. So I had to find a new and more-reliable tool.

4.99 Stars - Love it!

I love the app - I’ve been searching for a user friendly, simple note taking app for years and I have finally found one. The only thing that could take it to 5 stars is the introduction of bullet points. I love bullet points and find them incredibly useful. Please introduce them. If they do exist within the app and I am completely overlooking them, then I would gladly edit this review. Cheers
