Free to start, and it works fully offline. LOG FLIGHTS FAST - Snap the Hobbs: the camera reads the hours on-device, no typing. Or just say the reading out loud. - Full pilot logbook fields: PIC/SIC/solo/dual, day/night, instrument, takeoffs & landings, with running totals toward your certificates and currency. - Switching logbooks? Scan your paper logbook pages or import a ForeFlight CSV. - Every flight draws its route on a map, including multi-leg trips with stops. STAY CURRENT, STAY CHECKRIDE-READY - Day, night and instrument currency at a glance. - Running experience totals toward your next certificate, and a classic paper-style logbook view. - Keep pilot and aircraft credentials — medical, flight review, insurance — with expiry reminders. YOUR AIRCRAFT - Track tail numbers, engine and prop times, and maintenance due by Hobbs or calendar (oil, annual, 100-hour, ADs). - Record operating and fixed costs to see a real all-in cost per hour, with depreciation. - Get notified when your aircraft departs or lands. PLANNING TOOLS - E6B flight computer: wind triangle, density altitude, true airspeed, fuel and endurance, conversions. - Live METAR & TAF decoded with VFR/MVFR/IFR/LIFR flight category. - Find an Approach: search FAA instrument approaches by type, runway and minimums, then open the official plate. - FAA VFR sectional charts and a simple flight-plan builder with legs, times and fuel. DPE & IRS-READY REPORTS - A polished PDF for any period — flights, business use, operating cost, expenses and maintenance — with per-aircraft and grand totals. - Scan business receipts on-device and export CSV for QuickBooks. FLYING WITH A SCHOOL OR CLUB? - Join your flight school on SimpliFlight Fleet to book aircraft and see your schedule right in the app — free for members. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Your logbook lives on your device and works without signal. - Hobbs photos are never saved, and receipt images, credential scans, flight tracks and PDFs never leave your phone. - Optional Face ID lock, and optional sign-in for secure cloud sync and backup. SimpliFlight Pro unlocks photo and voice Hobbs capture, paper-logbook scanning, receipt scanning, report generation, cloud sync, aircraft departure and landing alerts, sectional charts and saved flight plans. Manual logging, aircraft, maintenance, costs, credentials, live totals, the E6B, weather and approach search are free, forever — and everything you record stays yours to view and export. Built for general-aviation pilots, student pilots, owners and CFIs who want their logbook handled with the least possible effort. Questions or ideas?
