Our account holder is not one of the three primary users of the system, and we don’t share an email. The whole double authentication going only the account holder email with no way to change is very frustrating. The “back up access code” stopped working, despite that it’s never supposed to change… right? The number of times that I have been logged out for no good reason, or accidentally hit the gigantic “logout” button that appears when the app doesn’t detect an internet connection for a moment, accounts for dozens of unnecessary logins. It’s clear that the user interface is not used by those who develop it. Please fix this so that the app can be functional to multiple users. Constantly get sensor errors and then sensor restored. Cameras record a very short time. No it’s not my WIFI as I have very good WIFI. Now getting alerts that the camera battery is dead. Settings are in three different places. Locks are as unreliable as ever. Updates fail randomly. Cameras drop off and won’t reconnect. Need to change over to Ubiquiti fully. Update 9/29/2024 - please combine all settings under a single menu. There are so many different places to change different settings. This should not be the case in 2024. You can leave all the settings in their place but have a main menu with everything. And I mean everything. Account, cameras, base station general. Every single setting. Update: 12/11/25. Still bad. No fixes on anything. Must be a bad solution overall. I have been replacing cameras and such here and there and hopefully next year replace internal home sensors. After many calls with customer service they agreed pay me back for only 6 months over charged and give me 3 months of credits. I sent an email asking for the reason why they don’t give me the full amount they overcharged but never get a response. What I have to do , any suggestions??? My biggest gripe right now, though, is that I can't see a way to search for a specific date and time of videos/other events in the timeline. The app should make any videos and other triggers filterable by any and all criteria - date, time, device, etc. As it is now, when a crime takes place (I'm in DC, so this happens on a near weekly basis), I can only filter by date and then have to manually scroll back to the approximate time and click through lots of videos. Meanwhile, the page often resets to the top each time I click back from the video, meaning that I'm trying my best to keep track of which videos I've already viewed. Additionally, our neighbor's Blink camera has a much better quality image and seems to just record 24/7. When we need to see license plates to report to the police, it's her camera that sometimes catches it - ours never does. So again, we like it, BUT if you live in a high crime area like we do, there is considerable room for improvement. -- Like-Hate, 2024-12-03 ### *---- "Empty promises and ZERO customer service follow through." Two false alarms in less than a year, outdoor camera slow to wake up misses activity and has poorly designed solar panel mounting that only allows installation with tiny screws not likely to stay attached in a storm. Bought alarm for second home, shipped to wrong address, sent back, ZERO followup, just ordered it 6 months ago. I switch from ADT to simple safe bc of pricing. Which now simple safe charges me more then what I was originally paying. The camera quality is terrible and there is no personalization to the cameras . They just now have the base station say the names of the door alarms . Which is nice . I would like to be able to personalize my door bell chime. With ADT you could personalize it to the holidays or just other neat sounds. I can’t stand simple safes door bell chime.
