Nice but somethings wrong
Very veryy nice app! However now there seems to be a bug that even when i play the right strings at the right time it doesn’t get it and counts it wrong. Very annoying because i am doing it right but the app seems to listen wrong
Why?
I learned my first chords, so I was happy when I could play my first song. But toen an advertisement came. I must have a premium account. Why?
Basic in ten minutes
I can play basic already
It’s very handy
je kan niet verder zonder te betalen
Na een paar lessen moet je premium kopen, want anders kan je niet verder.
Finally, what I've needed this whole time
After 6 years of on and off tryna learn the guitar (mostly off lol), I found this amazing app and it's been everything I needed all along. I've tried a udemy course, learning on youtube, guitar books, I've even paid through the nose for a personal tutor. All those methods always left me feeling demotivated and like I'm not progressing or not having fun anymore and then I'd put the mighty axe back down for another 13 months.
Until I decided to shell out barely any bucks at all and try out this app that I didn't have any faith in at all tbh. And wouldn't you know it, now it's about a month later and not only am I still having fun, I'm actively excited to get home every day and do my next lesson or practice session. It's the perfect ratio of challenge, fun, and "don't think about it to much, we'll do the thinking for you" lmao.
So anyway, I just had to hop in here and say how much I adore this app. Thanks dev team!
P.s. Is there a discord or public forum where we, the community, can interact with other? That'll just be the perfect cherry on top.
Expensive
I tried it and had much fun. I was about to learn a song but then saw that i had to pay for it: €16,50 a month = €200 a year. I can’t continue if I do not pay so i deleted it
Heel leuk
Heel leuk, maar ik vind het jammer dat de voorkant niet meer cartoon plaatjes zijn HAAL DAT TERUG ALSUBLIEFT!!!
Good for beginners, then too repetitive
Short review: I recommend this app for complete newbies that never took a guitar before like me. As you progress it becomes too slow and repetitive, and also less songs are unlocked as things go.
Long review:
This app was really good for me in the beginning, addicting, relatively fast to learn and do some nice things, but as you progress it becomes slow and repetitive.
- Sometimes I’m learning a new note, and then that whole lesson I have to do with ONLY that note, even to play a song with one single note. What’s the point of that? It’s boring as hell guys, make something more addicting in that sense, incorporating things people learned earlier…
- Now I’m on soloist IV, and I already play pretty much any song until that point, but the lessons are slow and make me first learn parts of the songs independently, then combine it, then play it in a dummy “setup” without being the real song, then I play the real song (again, that I have played before separately).
Another example, in soloist IV there’s a lesson that I need to switch from the first section to second section of the guitar… no joking, the app forces you to do that for every string, 2 times training, 2 more times playing it, and then the reverse afterwards. I’m obviously not against having that, but the repetition is simply insane…
Come on guys this is boring and slow as hell, if your intention is for me to keep the subscription going for longer it just causes the exact opposite effect on me. I’m considering unsubscribing because of that.
Make it more to the point and I’m pretty sure you’ll have people subscribed for more time. If you at least allowed some of these repetitive parts being skipped that’d make people happier, I would.
Great app
But in one of the latest updates the favourites stopped working (I cannot add and remove songs)
Kinda scammy
When you play a chord during a song, they say its the right chord no matter what you play, as long as you make noise
