SINGER® proudly presents the new “SINGER® Sewing Assistant” app that has been custom developed for you who are new to sewing but are eager to get started with your new SINGER® sewing machine. Supporting several of the SINGER® sewing machine models*, this app is a true helping hand that will educate and guide you through the machine, help you learn how to get started, how to sew and on top of that, get good quality. Once you download the app you will also get custom made sewing tutorials for your specific sewing machine and get help to discover new sewing skills along the way. With step-by-step instructions and animations it has never been easier! Read more about each section of the app below.

Getting Started

Learn how to use your SINGER® sewing machine* and perform different tasks including:
• Setting up to sew including threading the machine, bobbin winding and changing needle
• Selecting stitches, adjusting length, width and tension
• Troubleshooting

Sewing Assistant

This section will let you:
• Choose from several fabric types and the most common sewing techniques for perfect results
• Learn how to set up and use specific sewing techniques with step-by-step guides
• Includes animations to make it even easier

Machine Learning

In this section of the app you will get acquainted with your SINGER® sewing machine* and learn about:
• The different machine parts and their purpose
• Included presser feet, accessories and what they are used for
• Built‐in stitches available on your machine and when what they are suitable for

Can’t get past selecting the machine

App is broken

The app doesn’t work. It shows a list of their various machines and a brief description of each machine. The app does not do anything else. Hopefully Singer sees this review and fixes the bug preventing other features from showing.

My machine was not listed!

I am not sure if this is a joke but everything I read lead me to this app. My machine isn’t even listed. Singer Patchwork.

Empty App

Only shows one page of sewing machines. Click on the models and a pop up appears with brief information. Nothing more then on the box.

Doesn’t have enough machines

I have three singer machines it doesn’t cover any of them.

I mean, the app exists, that’s about it.

I downloaded it thinking it works be great, but nope. It looks about halfway finished- if that. It’s really mostly just a bunch of product manuals and how-tos on a few machines. I have a reason old machine which isn’t listed, and thankfully the company scanned the original manual for it. Singer, maybe you could make a basic sewing video series.

App isn’t working!

All I can do is choose my sewing machine. What happened to the information on this app to help with any problems or answer questions?

Fashion Mate 5560 is not a option

I purchased the Fashion Mate 5560, it instructed me to download this app, but my machine is not available for selection… please help 🙏🏻 I’m completely new to sewing and need some assistance big time hahaha

Obsolete

Just got a new Singer Patchwork machine and downloaded this app, as I am a beginner sewer. My new machine isn’t on the app. Would have given this app a zero if that were possible.
