Yeah and ffuccck the idiotts at ATO. -- Gleper, 2024-03-01 ### *---- "ZERO STARS" Regrettable that Payroller who had previously committed to providing a free STP compliant app for microemployers, are now charging an inflated monthly subscription for all (unless merely 1 employee) which is actually significantly more than Reckon Payroll (the app I dropped, lured by the Payroller promise of an ongoing free service for microemployers). I understand that there is a cost in designing, hosting and supporting a “loss leader free service” however I am outraged that a more expensive monthly subscription is now charged even for microemployers and to do it right in the middle of a financial year is unconscionable (essentially extortionate). Fortunately I have found and spoken to e-Payday Go who provide a best in class STP compliant web-based app that is still free for employers with 2 or less employees. For Australian microemployers outraged at now being charged a subscription merely for meeting ATO notification requirements, e-Payday Go is a “must consider” payroll application that has an excellent user interface (unlike the child-like “toy” look and feel of this Payroller mobile app) and is brilliantly supported (you need to subscribe for one month, but only one month to get top-level support).
