SketchCut PRO - Fast Cutting. The application for automatic calculation of cutting drawings of parts from flat sheets.
The app is designed with the features of cutting sheet materials (particleboard, MDF, glass, plastics, wood panels, etc.) both in the manual and on the machine.
Full version SketchCut. Without advertising.
The application functions are available:
- choice and change of cutting parameters (sheet size, blade width, offset from the edge of the sheet, etc.);
- edging (two types of edges);
- order information (order, material, order date, availability date);
- automatic cutting of sheets in accordance with the selected parameters;
- three different algorithms for calculating and optimizing layouts - to select the best option of cutting;
- automatic calculation of the area of parts and pieces, cut length, the length of the edges;
- display of the results in the .PDF file for printing;
- storing a list of parts and the cutting parameters on your device;
- metric system and Imperial units, with a simple conversion

Can work

I am using Sketchcut pro time to time. It is not perfect, but I believe the delevoper will find the time to improve it one day.

Great app

Use this all the time to work out cuts ect works great no issues

Saving and retrieving file - impossible

No support unfortunately... But pro version works pretty well otherwise...

Not good on iPhone X

It’s just what you need for nesting multiple cutouts on a sheet of material but the developer has neglected to update this for the iPhone X making it very difficult to use.

Good app idea

Great idea but unable to print or email the pdf so I can’t get it of my phone so what a let down

PRINT,PRINT,PRINT

When I go into the edges tab, my chosen edge types don’t change correctly, to show what I set them to in settings. Also I don’t understand why you can’t just make it, that to print off the results you just use the standard iPhone print facility. The export to pdf tab ( no idea where or how to get to the exported pdf ) is to complicated and unnecessary. We really really really need to be able to print off simply, for a 5 star review.

Useless!! Don't even bother they just want your money!!

Absolute garbage!! Don't both wasting your time or money!! Paid for the app for full access and nothing works. Once data was entered I'm receiving no results and can't even export the file via PDF. Tried to contact support and surprise surprise support page can't be found! May as well be theft. Not happy at all and I demand my money back! I will be contacting apple for a full refund. Jokers!

Rip off

It just doesn't work, I bought it for sheet material and it won't give me a "result" so I can't see a cutting plan VERY VERY UNHAPPY

The best timber cutting app but improvements to be made

This seems to be the best timber (sheet) cutting app currently available. I found it easy to input my required cut sizes and the designed cut layout seems sensible. As another reviewer has mentioned, the PDF output doesn't work very well. It gives a file path where the PDF is stored but you can't access it unless you connect your iPad/iPhone to your computer. A bit pointless really as the main purpose of this is to send a PDF or print it. Saving the PDF to iBooks would be better. The results page is not entirely in english and the units don't make sense. I also don't fully understand what the edges function does, a bit more explanation would be useful. In summary, only buy if you don't need to print your results.
