IF it was just at least possible to log in with my account. i paid for a subcription thinking i could log into my account on the ipad. i was wrong and then the issue never got fixed. please fix it, i really want to use the ipadOS version of skillshare. the pop up window appears and it never ever loads.
So generally, I think the concept of Skillshare and the product are good. However, I downloaded the app after a long time and it shows that I have a free month, before paying for a year. So I agreed to the free month as I wanted to see if there are certain courses I am interested in, before paying for it. As soon as I pressed ok, I got charged for a while year, because I already had a free month. Well then, my fault. Party yes, however, I think it is really shady advertising a free month regardless and then not having the option to decline, revert or even a note that I don’t have a free month anymore. Very much decreases my positive attitude towards Skillshare as a whole.
It’s a tiny bit like learning from YouTube videos, but so much more!!! You can choose from lot of topics, lots of courses. With one subscription I can watch everything, anytime, anywhere (even in airplane mode as you can download them). Simply the best quick-learning way. My best educational investment was this subscription. I love the way it works. Brilliant and up to date contents, good teachers, short videos chained in brilliant structures, excellent video presentation and sound quality.
Works well but could use an update for the saved classes in the app so it would work like on the page.
I love the content, much better than competitors. However would you be so kind to optimize your app for iPhone X? And also when you have loads of downloaded content and your in airplane mode, there's no need showing "no internet connection" error message for a billion times.

It's a very useful app, signed up with a very generous offer. I'd highly recommend
I am so frustrated with this app. I downloaded (yes, I verified) two courses so I could use them on a transatlantic flight. I was able view one class only because I had started the class, and left it open before boarding. Even then the video controls were unresponsive and I could not pause the class which required a restart of the phone. There is a button which says, “Go to Downloads” when you are offline. It has never worked. The app does nothing when you click on the button. My phone is the latest iPhone, and I am adept at technology. It would be better to offer no offline use than provide a subpar experience. I do love Skillshare, but this app needs work.
Do you remember that episode of “Black Mirror” where the woman didn’t read the fine print? Read your fine print if you are signing up for a trial longer than 7 days. I’m not saying you will meet the same fate as Joan, btw
