Good but improvement required
The idea and app is really great. But the smart picture process needs much improvement. It’s so difficult to take a correct picture and once done many time the analysis failed and another picture is required. It can take a really long time to make it successfully, patience is definitely needed. Looking for some improvement. At this point I give up.
Took payment without consent BEWARE
BEWARE-I paid for a 3 month subscription.The app asked for payment not through apple.I then received a email saying subscription would end after i paid for a 3 month subscription and to email them if i would to renew subscription so I emailed support for them to delete the account as no longer needed.i have received no reply and skin vision has charged me a week before subscription has ended without permission.
Unusable on iphone14 (apples fault)
There is a known issue with iPhone 14 unable to focus close up in apps. This means that the app is not usable on new iPhones as you cannot take close up pictures in focus Even “standard” mode doesn’t work as the camera is out of focus I appreciate this is not the developers fault but they should be lobbying Apple to sort this or identify a work around It’s a great concept, feel sorry for them being let down by apples poor camera set up
App is ok, customer service non-existent
Snarky emails from CS rep are not something anyone should experience. No help just attitude. Not a nice experience.
Would recommend
After having 5 moles removed and one was a BCC, they have said that I am prone to atypical moles. This app has really put my mind at rest, knowing that I can get them checked at any time. I highly recommend.
Amazing bit of tech.
Finally an app that is easy and does what it Says.
Mixed result
I have a strange looking new mole since last summer, which is changing too. I checked with the App and came out as high risk. After I got a message, saying the dermatologist checked and it’s low risk, nothing to do. 2 months later I tried the app again, although I have streched the skin a bit. Came as low risk. And few days later get a message again, saying, the dermatologists checked and it’s concerning, go to the doctor within 4 weeks. Now, I don’t know what to do as this is 4 different results of one mole. Also , do we need to strech the skin a bit for the photo?
A must have app
I can not thank the team enough behind this app. You probably saved my life.
Excellent App
With multiple skin lesions after a life mainly in sunny places as well as susceptibility to SCCs after a stem cell transplant, i was looking for continuous monitoring beyond six monthly visits to a dermatologist. SkinVision is very simple to use, fast and clear in its risk assessments. I do now feel reassured that I have found a way to accelerate any potential problem diagnosis.
