You can use some features of SkinVision for free, including our risk profile and skin type quizzes, storing images of your moles, and accessing UV information in your area.

SkinVision is a really useful way to self monitor your body-at home mole mapping. Several plan options or free access, you choose. Used for a few years now and had a mole removed when it was highlighted as needing further examination, thankfully a dermatofibroma not cancer but my mum died of melanoma, so I’m glad it got checked.

Having been to the dermatologist twice over the same mole, I then sent it to SkinVision and it came back high risk. I reluctantly went back a third time to dermatology, even though there had now been a year since the start of this journey. This time, the suspect mole was removed, and it turned out I had aggressive malignant melanoma sadly. Had this been removed initially, I probably wouldn’t now be stage three. But if it wasn’t for SkinVision, I probably wouldn’t have gone back a third time to dermatology, for fear of feeling that I was wasting their time. And it’s highly likely I would now be stage four due to the aggressive and fast spreading Melanoma. My heartfelt thanks to SkinVision for a correct and speedy reply.

I’ve given a review before, but I’m coming up to my final operation from my skin cancer and I just have to give props to this app again.  The wonderful thing about an app like this with machine learning it comes without any of the prejudice that an in person dr can have, I was “anxious about eczema” apparently 🙄.  Having this app look and be like that’s something suspicious go see a dr, spurred me to go get a second opinion from a different dr and that I wasn’t crazy/anxious over nothing which led to the skin cancer diagnosis,  just so much love for this app.  Thank you
