UberEats, DoorDash allow you to cancel orders within the app (based on valid reasons) - Skip does not and on busy nights, It can take upto 2 hours for skip customer service to pick up phone or answer chat. The driver is basically stuck with the order on their screen for the amount of time. Last time I called the the recorded voice says wait time is less than 2 mins but I was on the online for 2 hours and 18 mins and once again I need to get an order call called and I’m waiting for over an hour. The app isn’t designed good at all, it will take you to a stupid website of their own which has frequent bugs and you would have to go over again. Redirects to another stupid website for criminal record check and camera doesn’t work to show the ID and do a face check unless you download their stupid app which is again full of bugs. The app asks for your province and city at every next step, can’t you just see I typed my full address numerous times? What do you think changed? Maybe you can give me a prompt to pre fill? This is not at all worth it. At some point I also felt like I was ripped off sharing my personal information just to make some money. Seems like a blackmail imo. I had to go back and check if it was actually skip or a shady company from another country. If only the process had been easier if would have been so much better, maybe pay a lil more to your developers to have a better system, frustrating! Wasted an hour doing nothing and spent 71 dollars, guess what? You either send a picture of your thermal bags or buy, I literally have bags at my other house but still had to buy again, they won’t trust you one bit, and it’s a ripoff.
